Look at this. We don’t even have FSD. People own cars longer than before. Average is now 13.5 years. Cannot do snow. And somehow people think in two years everyone gonna be driving around in self saving cars 😂. Come on people. It’s a few thousand a day in cities. Yes in 60 years everyone will have one when the cycle of replacement goes on. No people aren’t going to pay for a loan on a car then somehow hop into a Tesla to get groceries. Folks. Use logic and analysis.

Also the robot walks like it wears a diaper. And what can it even do. Nothing. It can’t do anything right now. Its battery life looks to be 1 1/2-2 hours max not even loading it.

Disagree here they don’t want to bring attention to a lower cost vehicle potentially so that they don’t kill and Osborne their current vehicle lineup. This would make sense why they don’t want to push focus onto this

Tesla didnt avoid a low cost model, elon clearly said the future is autonomy. A low cost model is so 2023, china is there already, its 2025 and its autonomy. And a sub 30k model robo car is possible if scaled.

the unsupervised FSD will be a major catalyst and differentiator to buy Tesla cars. That's baked in the stock price already. let's hope Tesla won't delay unsupervised FSD beyond June 2025 or the stock will drop like a stone. I think optimus will be available before the cybercab. From an AI, service and security perspective Optimus is easier to implement and faster to mass market.

"millions of robotaxis on roads is a way way difficult target." - if the software self drives, then number of cars is not an issue. the 7 million teslas on roads now that they have trained the network with all have the hardware to do robotaxi work now. so current number of SAAS ride hail vehicles is 7 million + 2million/year + dedicated robotaxi ramp.

humans work a job and make enough money that its feasible to buy a car as 1/4th of their overall costs. of which 10% is car company profit margin. The jump to the car with software doing that human work 2 shifts a day is an 80X multiple per car profit. The oh no, the PE should be 25 not 100 is only off by a 4X. PE is high right now because more and more majority can see that additional 20X coming very quickly as you yourself said tesla is going to robotaxi model not just selling cars, and standard markets don't normally give you 20X in only a couple years. would love to hear where you disagree with the math.

This current price is based on the hype of trump election win. Investors hope that trump presidency would deregulate and permit tesla robotaxi which is very dangerous to the public as FSD is not fully ready.
