Yes Ben 👏 👏 👏 speaking the truth about this cult!!!
ОтветитьBen you are so on point and thank you for your candor and saying it how it is. Keep speaking up!!!
ОтветитьBen has done an excellent job of explaining Mormonism. And I am so glad she just let him talk because so many of us are interested in the religion and TLC won’t go too deep into it. He gives an accurate account of the history and shows how effing weird Mormonism is!
ОтветитьI always say prejudiced people need to go live with a tribe somewhere on earth for a month. Their whole outlook would change!
ОтветитьThe MAGA comparison is ridiculous. Don’t try to mix us in with your horrible cult.
ОтветитьLove You Ben
ОтветитьBen is so well spoken and 100% accurate. I grew up in the mainstream LDS group in SLC. The way he describes the history, the separations, and the attitudes is spot on. I'm impressed.
ОтветитьSacred suffering
ОтветитьBen, you are absolutely wonderful and it is so amazing to hear about your journey of healing. I’ve been on a similar path and am so encouraged by you. I hope you are proud of what you’ve accomplished so far. Mad respect for cycle breakers ❤️🩹
ОтветитьGreat interview!!
ОтветитьThis interview was needed for myself. I need healing from childhood problems. I'm 58. Yes, it's never too late. I've been in tears the entire interview. Mr brown has come so far. I'm excited for his new life. I agree with him about christen mary and Janelle. Tlc needs to showcase their healing. I'm convince that kody has lost it. Thank you again for this interview.
ОтветитьIt’s a little disorienting, hearing such honesty and wisdom coming from a voice that sounds quite similar to Kody Brown’s vocal profile— not to imply that’s a bad thing! Just familial resemblance. Ben’s got a great voice.
ОтветитьI loved the way he broke it all down, very fascinating.
ОтветитьI think that whole Janelle and her mother saying is all about the pheromones
ОтветитьBravery = real life truths
Ответитьgreat analogy of many ways of pointing at the moon
ОтветитьThis is the third time watching this. Ben is great and I believe every question I have had he was able to answer and Sarah, you asked! Blown away at how interesting. If there is an award category for best podcast interview, this by far is a number one pick for me. I also love that you are different from reporting on all the Bravo news. No disrespect to those podcasters but there are too many doing the same thing. You Sarah have cornered a market! Thumbs up for sure!
ОтветитьVery interesting discussion , great questions asked and Ben given time to explain his experience, really enjoyed this interview.
ОтветитьThere was a bunch of new things that came out about Ben. He’s really no better than Kody at the end of the day.
ОтветитьLoved listening to Ben Brown. But I thought it was so Disrespectful at the end. The music was too loud while he was trying to give out his info. Please do better.
ОтветитьBen I'm with you on the "real story" ...I'm so interested to see where the "sisterwives " are as they heal from a lifetime in this cult. Also interested to see what happens when they are no longer contractually bound. I'm hoping for healing journeys more than anything. Great interview!
ОтветитьHow did I miss you at the burn, Ben omg
ОтветитьParts of this were difficult to hear. There are very painful similarities between Mormonism and being an independent fundamental Baptist.
ОтветитьIs it me or does he sound like Kody? This was very eye opening and I'm so glad he's speaking his truth, unapologetically
ОтветитьBen looks like he's lost quite a bit of weight. I hope his health is ok.
ОтветитьYou can tell he's Kody blood relative. Kody's mom is handsome, and her boys look like her.
ОтветитьI just want to add to Benjamin’s story, that in terms of men having served time for the crime of polygamy when Utah turned from territory to statehood, a lot of the men had many wives - the presiding judges ordered they be released and legally wed to the woman with the youngest child.
ОтветитьAlso, my problem w the church and some of the long gone and older members even now - was regarding the role of black people in the church and within SLC. I attended the U of U in 78 - 79 and the religious and racial tensions (to me) were palpable. I took a course “African American History”, the prof was black, several athletes enrolled were and there were a handful of nevermos from other states who were learning that only about 12 black professionals were successful and living within SLC city limits at that time.
I saw the racism, experienced it bc of some of the church members in my family.
I’ve never believed that the older generations ever completely accepted this change in church policy. Some have gone as far to accuse the splinter groups to have seceded because of racism. I wouldn’t know, my family was a melting pot of everything and I still saw extreme reactions to black culture.
What am I missing? I like Dairy Queen.
ОтветитьWhere can I follow Ben? I like to hear/see more of him. Great video, great explanation.
ОтветитьAll bc a religious/cult says this is the only way thru this life is to please a vengeful God who says he loves you. What makes one to believe this crap?! Is it only bc we have a worship gene. Or are most people just sheep? Are most people weak and need a leader? Is it control? I do not get it.
ОтветитьYou go Ben! So true!
ОтветитьEven monogamous families cannot have genuine relationships with huge amounts of kids! It’s abusive and negligent. These ideals mostly from religious/cults are criminal. It’s designed to keep women bound and obedient and children trafficked for work. Now we have someone trying to keep it going by running for Presidential office. Very scary times.
ОтветитьSo that loud music at the end made it impossible to hear where to find And connect with Ben. It was not very respectful to put it there this loud either! Specially a pitty because I liked the information in the video, normally I would have subscribed at this point.
ОтветитьBrigham was the racist pervert 😈
Joseph was against polygamy and actually baptized and gave the priesthood to blacks!
Brigham conveniently killed Joseph & his brother! Brigham removed the priesthood from blacks, even a high ranking black man!
This is soooo good.
ОтветитьThe burning man story was so important. You definitely needed both sets of advice and I’m so glad she gave you both options
ОтветитьWhat a Lovely human being.
ОтветитьI wish he had addressed one of Kody’s most awful statements “I’m only afraid of being poor” The poverty they lived with sounds pretty scary.
ОтветитьWill you interview the kids of the Brown
ОтветитьWill you interview the kids of the Brown
ОтветитьI got a morman ad before this lmao
ОтветитьThat boy got so much of the history... incorrect by not telling the truth of it. Bummer.
ОтветитьBest episode. Thank you
ОтветитьHe came out and found out that his family and their religion was wicked and rampant with child abuse
ОтветитьHe looks like Kody
ОтветитьWow! He did an excellent job of breaking down mormonism and discussing how to identify cults. I didn't realize that Kody was a new convert to the AUB and that Jenelle also grew up LDS. That's fascinating.
ОтветитьOMGoodness, he looks exactly like Kody
ОтветитьGeez-Louise, is everyone in the Brown family so desperate for attention that they have to go into show biz??? These guys are narcissists, but this young man seems real and honest. I feel sorry for him.
