Ham Radio Comms for SHTF

If you want to extend your MAG's commo range, you can use a 2.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable to turn two UV-5Rs into a serviceable repeater. Very simple process. Google it. Extra credit if you attach a couple long antennae you can toss up in a tree. The FCC will frown at you, but in SHTF, wont be an issue. Great video, good info. Blue Ridge Mountains out.

Experts, just get some cb radios...Ham radio is for Emergencies and not SHTF situations as you call it... You probably need to check your licence as to what you can and can't do with Ham Radio, you are completely missing the point of Ham Radio. BTW you do know baofeng are made in China, which is kinda ironic..
