Thanks, James Spann for your hard work!!! Praise God we only had a few injuries. Had all of our JSU students been home, there would have been a lot of casualites!!! We are just so thankful for everyone!!! 204 was impassable for the 1st 24 hrs. It was a scary moment in my life!!!!
ОтветитьI do like how the southern part of the polygon in the Cullman County Tornado Warning that Vinemont is in the warning, but South Vinemont is not in it.
ОтветитьI think what you should do is if when you have 1 tornado warning at a time, only air your severe weather coverage in the area that is in the polygon.
Ответитьemphasize the word polygon
ОтветитьThe craziest thing about all of this, is when James said that the storm had hailstones the size of a 5-gallon drum, his slight exaggeration wasn't very far off.
ОтветитьThis happened on my birthday! Cool!
ОтветитьI live in munford Alabama and those storms dropped baseball size hail at my house hitting the roof sounding like rocks
ОтветитьCullman got hit pretty hard by that grapefruit sized hail that occurred last March, and even the EF3 Tornado that touched down in Jacksonville, AL as well!
ОтветитьThe weather coverage was excellent, but they should have kept that girl out of the car dealership. Yeah, the cars are all totaled. You don't have to point out that not only the windshields, but the sunroofs, hoods, and rear windshields were damaged too. Keep it simple.
ОтветитьWell... The hail started real small... And then it got bigger... and then it got bigger.... What yall gonna do now... Were gonna go home. 🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьI can't stand when people say they heard a "train" sound, tornados do not have Diesel engines in them morons!! I guess when I am photographing trains I will have to say I heard a tornado sound!! Also, no one should be out in the hail but then the moron news guy is out in the hail & says he "just got hit in the head and it hurts"!! How stupid are these guys?!
ОтветитьPDS watches are scary as you can be hit at any time
ОтветитьAfter you have been hit like they were in 2011 you tend to be much more cautious than you were before
Ответитьi you could cancel green beans instead of eating for it to expire bc i would of done that as a kid
ОтветитьI wonder if that statue has been defaced
ОтветитьJames Spann is a national treasure .
ОтветитьHe is the best person ever in Alabama
ОтветитьThank you so much James spann we where I the ef3 tornado in Jacksonville it was scary ⛈🌪
ОтветитьFor those outside of Alabama, here's how we can gauge how severe an outbreak is just by looking at James Spann. If his suit jacket is on, we're ok but need to be aware. No suit jacket, be concerned. No jacket and sleeves rolled up, big trouble.
ОтветитьThank goodness for those public tornado shelters.
ОтветитьPoor Dog!
ОтветитьAdorable Dog!

ОтветитьWhy is the reporter outside when hail is large enough to cause brain damage?!?!?!!!
ОтветитьCLCs...PDS...VORTEX SE...
These videos are so educational.
Can we get James Spann to please teach master class/write a textbook on meteorology, or at least do another TED Talk?
🤗 JIM CANTORA...is the man 🤗!!!
