Nintendo @ E3 2021 DISCUSSION! General Plans, Switch Pro, & BotW2?

Surely in the tree house live they'll dedicate a significant amount of time to Skyward Sword and show how it's improved and why you should buy it.

If new hardware is announced then I think there'll be BOTW2 game play. If there isn't, we'll get a trailer and a name but no gameplay

I'm at an 8 level of hype, trying to keep my expectations low but I just can't contain myself when E3 season comes, I just love it so much. And Tom, keep that beard, man, you're looking mighty fine!

I don't know if it's true or not but I was on Google news I heard that the Nintendo switch pro will be revealed in June 3rd or 4th.

I can't believe we made it this far. 5 long grueling months waiting for this day to finally arrive! Hopefully it will be worth the wait! I would love to see Breath of the Wild 2 and an official title which we'll maybe? see some sort of release date or window for the game, cause obviously the game's probably been in development since the final DLC for the first game released. I believe there's still some time until we actually get our hands on the game. I would not think the Switch Pro won't be announced till later, but then I'm spitballing here, but we'll never know. Nintendo is good with surprises and shadowdropping things like a Direct out of the blue

Maybe Sakurai might surprise us with another batch of characters, or a new Kirby game? Nintendo just loves to surprise fans. I also want a GameCube support for Switch Online or an HD port of Paper Mario + TTYD sequel, Mario & Luigi game for Switch (highly unlikely considering the sales for the 2 remakes), but anything Nintendo I'm hyped for. I'm just happy E3 is back!

As every year I always hope for a Xenoblade Chronicles X port.

But I never expect it...... 😅

so it's almost save that they show splatoon 3, skyward sword and smash chracters... this alone will "waste" time for new announcements like 15 minutes of those 40 minutes

I will be expecting whole lot of shovelware.

The E3 announcement specifically stated that it would be for software, so I wouldn't expect a switch pro announcement then per se.

I hope for (but don't expect) news for pikmin 4. Here's hoping!

Something odd is that the Wii U and 3DS servers are undergoing maintenance as of writing this comment. My Wii U crashed while playing online, and I couldn't go online as of a restart, so I checked Nintendo support, and it said the servers were undergoing maintenance. Perhaps they're planning something like changing the servers to also allow Switch games in addition to 3DS or Wii U, or possibly even replacing Wii U connection with Switch connection.

Nintendo already confirmed that this year's presentation will focus exclusively on Nintendo Switch software. Why are you purposedly risking yourselves to disappointment?

I'm expecting a new game for each of Nintendo's more known series... It's been a while since we've had legit hype news from them.

I don’t think BOTW 2 will be the “one more thing” because they already did that in 2019. More likely it will be towards the end of the presentation, and then the “one more thing” will be a tease for a surprise game that’s in development and won’t release for another year or so.

Hopefully some more info on BOTW 2 and DP remakes.

I remember they said there was no hardware reveals when they announced the Switch Lite.

They usually show something beyond the designated timeline, that's nothing new and has nothing to do with being "truthful" or not but with having surprises.
