The big problem with Louis is that he's a softy. Everyone around him is ruthless and willing to do anything to get ahead, routinely lying and manipulating people they claim to love to get ahead. Louis is cunning, excellent at his job but too quick to give in to emotion. Honestly the best thing for him might just be to leave, between Harvey and Jessica's bullying and the repeated betrayals from Donna, Pierce Specter seems like a really unhealthy place to work.
