ОтветитьLove The vid
ОтветитьReligion is a disease.
ОтветитьIs that CK2 music playing in the background?
ОтветитьThe first crusade at times seems as although it is a cat with nine lives, given how many times they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat or triumph against massively superior odds. As least three times at Antioch, they should have been destroyed or overrun by their Muslim enemies.
ОтветитьHow barbaric to dug up the bodies D:
ОтветитьShout-out for the seamless product placements. Lol.
ОтветитьYou have to be as thick as pig sh*t to believe you are doing the Lord's work when you massacre women and children, and people of your own faith!
Yes, some Muslim conquerors were cruel but many Christian conquerors were just utterly barbaric, monstrous. I don't understand how one can be Christian.
Bishop Adhemar of Lepuy led the Crusaders out of the city carrying the Holy Lance, now on a shaft. Many strange apparitions were seen on the battlefield, Christ and St. Thomas, a lone Crusader knight standing on a high hill, and signaling the Christian host to advance against the Muslims. ✝
ОтветитьFatahmids being cool with crusaders was really a huge underestimation. The muslim world was really divided by then and perhaps curious of the events of these supposed mercenaries
ОтветитьMaster class but desperate sally out. But it’s really an advantage if defenders are spread out and the attackers become the attacked because they do not know where the sally out will funnel
ОтветитьLet's goooooo
ОтветитьThis entire series on the 1st Crusade is crazy, also just the crusaders and their never ending luck is crazy.
ОтветитьBoys fasted for 3 days, ate the body and blood of Christ and then charged like there is no tomorrow
Ответитьexaggerated
Ответитьthe seljuk leaders never forced anyone to convert to Islam

ОтветитьThis is interesting, I wish they make Hollywood movie series out of this. So far only problem is u narration I can’t keep up on some topics ur too fast like ur reading a book but of course it’s just me .I tend to look at those maps too for better understanding of the map. Anyway nice going n just can’t stop ur story on series 👍👍

Ответитьi ain’t know antioch, ca get down like that
ОтветитьAmazing series. Please more
Ответить7 christian king vs 1 muslim Commander
ОтветитьWell, very sad to say to the christians, all these victories against the turks, will not last. Anatolia was already turk that time, it was reconquared just after a dacade from the byzantines. And that blow to aginst turks was given back to the latins by the ottomans after few centuries, they even conquared rome in sultan mehmets time. And this is the story of the muslim army, the so called "army of Islam" in crusader fantasy chronicles. Not Islam Itself. Fighting Islam itself is a different story. In crusader fantasy chronicles, the preists try to say they defeated Islam in those times. Lol. Even if You and your decendent of all europians try for thousand years, Islam will be victorious. I suggest, soon europians should colonize mars( if they can fight china in that matter of course).
ОтветитьIf the conquer England, Sicily/southern Italy and now the countless battles won in the crusades doesnt show that the Normans were the most deadly fighters of the time i dont know what else would. These guys must have been scary to see. Is there any info on how the Norman knights trained. I know there have been videos before how the Romans and legionaries trained for their discipline and combat readiness. I would love to see if there is any info on how the Normans created such deadly fighters to the man. That would be a fascinating video. along with the gear that they would be using that seems to give them a huge advantage in close combat against the Muslim soldiers they were fighting.

Ответитьgreat work
Ответить
they slaughtered their fellow christians as well lmao
ОтветитьImagine you are on the brink of starvation but have to go out and fight people to the death
ОтветитьKilling all the people in the city was a dumb move, always show respect to the people. The people in the long run will be your strength or your weakness
ОтветитьOutstanding cameo from Mad Hugh.
Ответитьwhere is the history of the crusades 2?
ОтветитьComet's Talk No Jutsu
Ответитьwhy didn't the eastern roman empire come in support?
ОтветитьCrusaders were marauding barbarians, massacring innocent jews, commoner muslims, orthodox christians and battle captures alike. They deserve no praise whatsoever.
ОтветитьWhat did they gain from butchering the inhabitants? As they wanted the city for themselves you'd think more citizens being alive to be taxed would be a goal. The mainstream view is that the crusades was unjustified bloodthirst, but then I read up on what provoked them and it was more understandable, but then they do stuff like this. Maybe it's because the Franks were generally dicks wherever they went, backstabbing the Romans multiple times and even during the crusade for Nicopolis where Sigismund wanted to save the Christians and promised them mercy the French knights still massacred and looted, prioritizing their greed rather than the faith
ОтветитьI got goosebumps each time the crusaders get a morale boost in this battle lol so epic
ОтветитьGreat, Thanks!
ОтветитьMovie battles are too unrealistic. Meanwhile the first crusade...
ОтветитьBohemond is such a cool historical figure
ОтветитьSt. Ignatius of Antioch would have been happy to see that Antioch was Christian again. Christianity was there hundreds of yesrs before Islam converted by blood or sword.
ОтветитьMasallah and yet we are the ones who are more violent, seeing how the muslims didnt even get mercy even for the women, damn no wonder christianity is indeed the biggest religion, not because it was spread by knowledge but because it was actually spread by the sword.
ОтветитьThis video is awesome as well as the rest of the film on the First Crusade!
You inspired me to write a musical tracks about these events.
On Spotify, you can look for "Siege of Antioch" by laythedawn
Thanks again for inspiration!
But did they have the holy hand grenade
ОтветитьSpeaking of good sleep, I might get some one day if your videos stop making their way into autoplay. I like what this channel does but it's a bit of a rude awakening when you started with Skyrim soundscapes and it jumps to this.
