Thank you for helping feed my inner wolf with this exploring trip 👍
Ответить👍👍👍 THANKS
ОтветитьThat is bad 😞😞😞 for them tree 🌴🌴🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
ОтветитьOh yeah 👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThe camping and hiking videos I enjoy the most are the ones you most enjoy making wherever they are.
Ответить“Deer Keds”? Interesting. Maybe that’s what was biting me. Good to know. Thanks for the information.
ОтветитьWelts that can last for over a year? That’s crazy!
ОтветитьLuke, I’m betting that the chest pack you’re wearing has a pistol in it. I, personally never go into the woods without a revolver.
ОтветитьGo to my local orchard to find out what this star really does
ОтветитьYou said The Green Forrest is a Boreal Forrest...how so?
ОтветитьGood music.
ОтветитьThat's the way is is here in the SWVA and east KY mountains. You hardly would know it on the westward side. All the leaves were on and no apparent damage. As soon as you got close to the top all hell had broken loose. Trees literally pulled out of the ground. Total destruction of the forest. You could see some signs of rotation the way the under trees were blown down falling to the west then others pushed back over top of them in a different angled layer. The backside effect of wind rotation. Deer ticks mean little mothers. Gota love a good white frost. Go til you can't go anymore. That's what I do. Not because I feel on top of the world. Just better than being under it. Green forest is a beautiful place. Deserves more visits and camps. Be very dramatic looking covered in snow. All good from east Kentucky USA Nomad Mountain Man
ОтветитьLuke, I really enjoy your videos. You are one my top, if not the top, channels that I watch. My favorite ones are the overnight videos. I must say, the name of this video is a bit misleading. Instead of saying wild camping it should have said day camping to properly describe the content. It was a good video but I was a bit disappointed when I realized you were not camping overnight. Either way, you do a great job with your videos and they are always interesting. Happy Holidays!!
ОтветитьHi my husband has (excuse spelling) hemacromatosis too..he has ayearly blood count done and has just been told to stay away from red meats x was you told the same or advised otherwise love kay from the U.K
ОтветитьLuke, as I've said before, I get almost all my outdoor, wilderness exploration and gear information from you guys! Keep on keep'n on my friend!
God bless all you folks!
BEEN A SUB SINCE 2012 STILL LOVING IT THANKS BROTHER
ОтветитьBeing from the South, I have never heard of Deer Keds. Doing some research, though, I am glad we do not have them "yet" in my area. A research paper states that no repellant seems to work, although permethrin-treated clothing does. Also, the paper pointed out multiple times that they are highly attracted to darker clothing. They are nasty little creatures and can carry pathogens, including Borrelia burgdorferi (which can cause Lyme disease). However, there are no "documented" cases of human infection. That is a beautiful place. Hurricane Laura decimated some of our local forests, including virgin hardwood bottoms, making them virtually impassible.
ОтветитьHi, I'm from India and the best comparable tent I can find to the OneTigris Stella is Gipfel Cora-3, can you please have a look at it/review it? I've done my research according to your channel, but it would be a huge mental boost if you review it lol! Thank you so much in advance if you go for a review.
Edit: Happy Thanksgiving !!
Jeezo, flying ticks is just wrong
ОтветитьJust Awesome!
ОтветитьGood video thanks
ОтветитьPrayers for you going up.
ОтветитьWill they harvest storm damage. They are juniper and would make great natural posts. No true cedar in your area
ОтветитьWhole Foods Plant Based can help you
ОтветитьLuke, you treat hemochromatosis by having blood removed, once a week, until the iron levels in your blood are normal. Sometimes it can take up to a year until iron levels are normal. The 3-4 time a year for the rest of your life.
ОтветитьI live vicariously through your camping trips, however with that said, I am interested in how things are going there. Western North Carolina was hit hard (among other places).
ОтветитьAfter the storm,
many of the landmarks are gone. It's very disorienting for me even on roads I've traveled thousands of times. Use every means possible to avoid getting lost.
Guitar music rocks your nature hike…just perfect. Thanks for sharing. 🎸🥾🎸
ОтветитьI was diagnosed with renal failure in 2000, for no apparent reason, no smoking, no drinking, just because.
Was on 'drugs' from 2000 - 2005 to keep me going, from 2005 - 2008 i was put on a dialysis machine, every second day.
Keeping a fulltime job was very hard, but i made it work somehow.
In 2008 i was given a transplant, which increased my quality of life a 100 fold.
Three monthly hospital visits (4 visits a year, + in between clinic visits).
Employers wasn't really happy with all the off time, so keeping a job became difficult.
Six years ago i was put on a government disability by my hospital doctor.
I make the government's few cents + house / pet sitting work, in order to 'live'.
It's difficult, but we make it work.
A year ago i got a 'speed wobble' with my kidney, and it's been a ride. .....
We all have something, how we deal with is what counts.
Do what you need to do, when you have toy friend.
Take care
🇿🇦🤙👍
It can still go indefinitely, or it could just stop tomorrow, so it's kind of mentality draining .......
My inner wolf wants to see your other Green Forest recon videos!
ОтветитьHope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving
ОтветитьShould be getting snow there soon
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your trek through the forest. I didn't see in the equipment list the feet that you added to the Big Agnes Skyline Stool. I use small tennis balls (dog toys) but these look better. What are they?
ОтветитьIn one of the next episodes, please talk about your opinion on the camper who was lost for 50 days in Canada. His name is Sam Benastick, research the story.
ОтветитьWas going to ask, what soft ground feet do you use with the Big agnes stool please. Thanks mate.😊
ОтветитьHi mate, I understand the sentiments, do what you can do, adapt, if needs be. Make the most out of life, thrive young man.
ОтветитьAwesome trip! Thank you! How do you have a camera videoing you as you walk? Is someone recording your trip?
I'm always full of questions !
Fun journey Luke !
Luke.....love your you-tubes....but brother that is some nasty coffee you drink....you can do better! lol
ОтветитьYep... I can imagine that it is WARM there... the main reason I moved away from the South US. I moved all the way to the northern border of the US and I absolutely LOVE the weather here. Been here more than 30 years now and I'll never go back to the South US.
ОтветитьAwesome as always Luke👍
ОтветитьWhere did you get the feet for your Big Agnes Stool?
ОтветитьHey Luke I don't know if anyone has said this in your videos but when you are about too eat or drink your meal or coffee make sure that there is no bugs or insects inside your meal or coffee. Cheers my friend cheers!
