It is clear that Red Bull is suffering because of Verstappen. His odd preference of car development makes it difficult for other drivers to drive the RB car. This is why RB has lost the constructor championship in 2024 and most likely 2025 as well.

It was a seriously un sportsman like move on Max's part...when the driver's thinking and the decisions made by the team in the pits don't agree there is bound to be trouble. Then of course there is FIA and their somewhat draconian decisions to consider too...I get Max's frustration but he could have easily taken himself out and Russell as well by doing that and that would have been worst than the 10th place finish he was eventually awarded. Being careful is going to be a requirement going forward. He is going to have to learn to play nice.

The corner in question Max turned in late. On hard tires, he had to let off the turn due to lack of grip. He started the turn again and George turned hard into Max in fear of being forced into the marbles. When George made contact with Max, Max counter-steered to keep from spinning out due to George hitting him.
Everyone knew Max would not have the grip, all the announcers questioned why he was on hard tires. I questioned why Red Bull even brought him in when they were going to put hard tires on his car.
If I were Max I would qualify around where Yuki qualifies, opt out of the contract extension, and take a better team. Red Bull. Red Bull and Racing Bull are in a hard slide backward. Hadjar should be the driver in the #2 Red Bull, not Yuki.
