Arkansas is only “relevant” because the media is talking about Cal. This isn’t a top 25 team or even top half of the SEC team.

Cal didn’t even take his full recruiting class from Kentucky, not even half.

Recruiting a few top players isn’t his fastball. Having the number 1 recruiting class was. He will never have the #1 recruiting class at Arkansas. Not even close.

Combine that with his Xs and Os and his teams are barely average anymore.

Ppl are telling me come march/april UCLA or Indiana is gonna try and get cal ! I think theres some truth to it because the woman that told me this would know and she dont just say something.But one thing is for sure cal isnt staying 5 years and Arkansas isn't the basketball prestigious school cal really wants to coach. Arkansas is like in the group right behind Kentucky, Kansas Duke, North Carolina, Arkansas is in the next group of colleges for college basketball royalty. As an Arkansas fan... and someone who grew up there... you really have no idea what you're talking about. Basketball is the big ticket in Arkansas, but their fans are realistic. Yes, we're happy to have cal. Yes, it's nice to have media attention and all that.. But, it's not fair to bash the team so early when 3 of the 9 have struggled to be on the court at all. Scrimmages... none. Chemistry, very little yet. The players recruited to be the backbones of the team, Aidoo and nelly, have not rounded into form from injury as of yet. Did they get embarrassed? Hell yes. But I'd like another shot at that game with Aidoo healthy playing at 25+ minutes and Boogie on his game with a little more exp for all players and an offense that runs through nelly like it was supposed to. Basically... talk to me in February. If we still can't handle a screen and roll or run sets, talk all the shit you want.

I think you guys are just overthinking we lost two games the games we lost weren’t to bad teams and the ball just doesn’t go your way sometimes so far so what big deal the damn team has only been together for maybe 8 months plus 2 our biggest pieces have been dealing with minor injuries which has kept them from playing to potential but trust this team is going to be top 5 in SEC or maybe top 3 ain’t how you start the season it’s how you finish just keep eye on these hogs 🐗

Cal is not a good coach. What’s so hard about that? KY won 2 NCAA tournament games in 4 seasons, to the powerhouses of K State and Providence. And we had stars for days on the roster. He’s a clueless 🤡 who is horrible at communicating with these young men.

The only reason Cal gets the recruits he does is because these kids think they need Cal to het to the NBA . But most these kids with NBA talent would make it to the NBA from just about any big school they went to as long as they perform. They don't need Cal to make it to the Pros.
