Pretty much a skid steer but way less maneuverable, even with the crab steering engaged. The bed is handy to haul salt which is why they're all rusted to hell, because they're great with a blower or blade in the snow. Can even fit a broadcast spreader with hopper in the bed.
ОтветитьThey're actually VERY handy. Lol.
ОтветитьLooks like it couldn't lift a potato
ОтветитьDistant relation to the Unimog.
ОтветитьI ran the exact one at Penn state, it was used to spread salt and and was broken down 86% of the time
ОтветитьHaters gonna hate
ОтветитьThey’re tough little units. But 5000hrs is quite up there hope it has really good maintenance record
ОтветитьDad must be so proud of all that negativity you bring his was 👎🏼 You can’t see what he does, time to spend more time listening
ОтветитьLeave old man be it's to drive his dogs around and in case it snows
ОтветитьTotally bs . I’ve been in building all my life and bobcat is a frickiig joke bro
Ответитьwhy cant folks ever just be happy for someone else? always gotta be giving them hell talking shit
ОтветитьBut, with a wee bit of modifications.... You can attach a Bobcat backhoe, with out-riggets, directly on the front.. please note, the front suspension does not like that AT ALL... but, in the winter days, or Sumner days, you have a nice and cozy cockpit with climate control, just fantastic... I have to flip a coin to see which crew gets to take the Bobcat for the day's work., And, they all take exceptional care of it, fearing it might break, and lose the climate control the last time it broke, they all put up the money to afford to get it fixed, that is how much my clowns love this stupid looking machine.. lol
ОтветитьEven the municipal guys think they're useless.....other than plowing sidewalks.
ОтветитьI had one we used at my old job there complete beasts lol
ОтветитьThat thing is really nice! Imagine if he had all of the attachments? 👍🏻
ОтветитьGreat thing to have we use ours every day
ОтветитьRan one every day doing maintenance for a mall awesome little machines
ОтветитьHad three toolcats great machine pull tile cart, livestock barns use it all time
ОтветитьWell, we’ve got a 2000hr, 2015 3650 with Five (5) attachments, two (2) are powered by the forward PTO. Forks, bucket, six (6) way snow plow, power sweeper & Finnish Mower.
Fully inclosed cab w/ air conditioning, power steering, hydrostatic transmission, Kohler three (3) cylinder diesel engine.
I paid only $12k from a local John Deer dealership trade in lot. Previously it was owned & operated by a property management company for office building grounds maintenance.
I put new tires, shocks & complete exhaust plus a full service at the local Bobcat dealership which had originally sold & serviced our unit. For under $5k. All in for just over $17k with taxes.
Being an UTV, she’s quite a capable workhorse, it is basically a half ton pickup truck payload & off road towing with attachments to maintain our ranch twelve (12) months a year.
Now I won’t be insulting your intelligence by saying it is as capable as these Toolcats but for a retired home owner the UTV 3650 platform fits perfectly into our fleet.
If your looking for something like a Toolcat but can’t justify the expense I highly recommend you source a used Bobcat 3650 / Polaris Brutus w/pto. If you can find one, production ended in 2019.
The slow top end speed of 30mph(down hill with the a/c off & a good tail wind) with the Hydrostatic transmission kept the Bobcat 3650 from being more popular but to me that just assured us that the previous owner couldn’t beat on her too much plus the torque from that diesel engine delivers the power to do the work we need doing. I have another sport UTV for “fun runs” but that unit ain’t mowing our lawn !
Sometimes in life you just have to buy what u want when you want lol
ОтветитьRusted out sounds like a bad way to start anything
ОтветитьHandy little Rig no doubt He will find a use for it.
ОтветитьI didn't want one, until you said it's a golf cart with a loader on it.
Ответить"Yeah he looks very municipal" 😂😂 that was a funny one!
ОтветитьA golf cart with a loader sounds badass
ОтветитьMy old highschool has one. There's a little shed by the side of the school and there's just a bunch of ride on equipment. These tool cats I usually see scraping the sidewalk of snow.
ОтветитьI never understood this concept of machine
ОтветитьGo Nittany Lions!! Haha. Thought that was cool it came from penn state. Not to far from there
ОтветитьDad wanted AC while he mowed
ОтветитьThe military made a better one and has a backhoe
Ответить5,,000 hours is the magic number for; it's worn out!
ОтветитьDad got it cheap that's why he bought it
ОтветитьIts from penn state it identifies as rusty.
ОтветитьYou cant weld plate steel to that. You need a D9
ОтветитьSometimes "I want it." is a good enough reason. Now I want one 😂
ОтветитьI love my Toolcat. Use it all the time for farm use
ОтветитьYeah every one I see is rusty.
ОтветитьI've worked on a lot of those in the world junk.
ОтветитьWhen someone buys something dont point out the rust and bald tires !
ОтветитьWe have a toolcat, good hardworking machine. It's lasted us well and served many, many purposes.
ОтветитьMotors in the early 2000s were wild. I remember when Ryan newman with a dodge motor ran an enitre 500 mile race at Pocono turnin out to 9500rpm at the end of the straights. It was epic
ОтветитьI think I need one of these for my small homestead! 🐅
ОтветитьDad deserves a toy if he wants one.
Ответитьjust wait till you have to pull the cab to replace the alternator
ОтветитьJunk
ОтветитьFather in law is the same... They get to buy the toys now that the son's are not his responsibility ..Enjoy your toys Bob and Whats Mom getting
ОтветитьIt's not a golf cart tards
ОтветитьTool cats are the shit
ОтветитьHow is this working for you? My dad is 82 year old. He just broke his collarbone. He likes to feed the cows with a tractor. I think a tool cat would be good to feed the cows and could take a passenger with him.
ОтветитьWhen you spill grain now you got a tool to pick it up vs a shovel!!!! Hood buy Mr Bob!
