Eye Tooth (2001) - Shan Herian was blind for 26 years, and had never seen his wife and children. An extraordinary operation, using one of his own teeth, has given him back his sight.

Blind since early childhood after he lost his cornea and tear ducts, Shan has managed to live a full life regardless - but now, by implanting an artificial cornea in one of Shan's own teeth, his sight has been miraculously restored. The use of his own tissue helps to stop the body rejecting the new object when implanted in the eye socket. Now, he can see his family, drive on the road, and experience everything the visual world has to offer.
