Which Car Battery is Best? Let's find out!

I've been told the Everstart Plus and the Everstart Maxx are basically the same battery, you're just paying another $40 for an extra year of warranty from WalMart. What does anybody think of this? Change my mind

After watching your test. When I needed a battery. I bought the Walmart Ever start.

I bought 2 ever start group 27 batteries for my Cummins diesel after this video. Here I am over 5 years later and those 2 batteries have just become bad. Refered back to the video and am off to buy two more at Wal Mart! Thanks Project Farm!!!

Now the next test is the long run and abuse. But at that point it comes down to warranty.

My H7 Ever Start Maxx Wally World battery crapped out today. It was manufactured and bought sometime around 10-2021. Walked in and they replaced it for free, no questions asked. That is 3 years on the button or just under I guess so I lucked out. Good thing as they now run around $159 up from around $120.

Just an fyi optima batteries have questionable quality as of the last few years. They’ve dropped off quite a lot since this video it seems. Current models might not perform the same.

A lot of the Walmart batteries are produced in Korea now and Johnson controls is owned by Carlious I heard the manufacturer can be different by region is there a way to tell who the manufacturer truly is with Walmart batteries? I called the store and the person working in tire department revealed that in my area they are Korean made. I think this change warrants a new test

Agm batteries are worth it aa they last up to 9 years for some brands. But not optimum. They are made poorly and will fail often.

Even when made by the same manufacturer and packed in the same case, the "Guts" can vary. Rather than strive for the highest amp ratings, some battery designs use shorter plates, to leave more room for debris to accumulate below the plates before it rises high enough to electrically short between two cells. Those are probably better batteries to purchase if you drive on rough roads.

Here I am. Saturday morning. Car won’t start. OEM battery was $300+. I turned to Project Farm and just got Walmart’s Everstart Maxx for $140. I trust this man and he has yet to fail me.
