This is sick,my favourite of the album is so 1999/2000.

I just love this tune. The beat and hooks are really catchy, but it's Janet's words and concepts that take it somewhere else. I know you pretend you're frivolous, that it doesn't mean a thing, but you really are very deep, you have an incredible ear for the way people speak to one another. And what you say in these minimalist phrases, as a sort of poignant undercurrent running below the dance beats, really conveys a lot more meaning than perhaps you'd like to admit it does. PS: Why don't you kiss me like you used to?
