Put the bigger pinion for more air control this thing is way under gear for my opinion
ОтветитьAnyone who can afford to fork out a grand, seriously props to you👏
ОтветитьGreat review! I’ve seen this one at hobby store on display and it is huge heavy cool looking truck. Thanks for great bash video. I can’t wait for big rock 6s and Kraton 8s exb video soon. Btw why did you sale your jeep gladiator? Just curious. Thanks 😎
ОтветитьBashers live a hard life. They’re still fun but I’ve gradually been using trail trucks and crawlers more often, you usually only install upgrades instead of doing repairs all the time . Great video !!
Ответитьdidnt see..do not be Kevin
ОтветитьThe performance and durability of this Outcast 8S EXB RTR is essentially on-par with most 1/8 scale RTR trucks, which is saying a lot for a large scale, aluminum chassis RTR stock out of the box! So, perhaps in terms of large scale, the X--Maxx and XRT got there first, but those are lighter plastic tub trucks, and they certainly come with their own sets of issues. I have been holding-out getting into the new 1/5 platforms since I got back into the hobby a few years ago because the RTRs come off a bit sluggish, and if you weren't landing on the wheels...and mistakes do happen...stuff breaks rather easily. So it looked as though you needed to spend quite a lot on aftermarket parts (as I did with the Baja 5B Flux RTR back in the day), then after all that extra bulk, you needed yet more powerful electronics if you wanted to rip them like an 1/8 scale rig. I would say that now with the new ARRMA 8S EXB RTRs out there competing with the X-Maxx and XRT, as well as the availability of reasonably priced and higher capacity LiPos, maybe we are starting the golden age of large scale off-road RC that is far more accessible now to people in the hobby than several years ago. Sure, there is still more expense involved than 1/10 and 1/8 scale trucks, but it seems more obtainable now to mainstream RC enthusiasts that are ready to take that next step beyond 1/8 scale trucks.
ОтветитьDo this for every truck! Love to see it in the hands of different drivers. Durability/drivability testing at it's finest!
ОтветитьHave you ever tested a hobao? Those are far more bullet proof . So under rated and I can't understand why
ОтветитьGreat job on the video, I had fun driving it. Thanks for handing over the remote.😊
ОтветитьI broke my front bumper mount too but on the outside edges where the seam line is and bent 1 axle and didnt jump mine as hard the fact is this thing is heavy!! Surprising no gear od diff damage with the amount of time people landed it on power definitely fast and fun I got 53 with gens ace 100c packs
ОтветитьSuch an amazing review and punishment test... THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW... I am a subscriber because of this awesome review 😉🔥
ОтветитьGood video.... but it's difficult to make a jump as horrible as that driver 2, unnecessary abuse.
ОтветитьThe body in my Outcast 8s gets destroyed very quickly indeed. And it's so expensive to replace. One of the reasons I 😊don't drive it anymore. The body on the K8S lasts 20x more because of the truggie design. Thanks for the video. I had to put an M2C chassis on both my Outcast 8s and EXB K8S. After like 15 runs, the diff cases have to be retightened. Even the upgraded Arrma aluminum cases suffer from that. Even after using loctite. So yeah, these trucks are very heavy, so if you don't land perfectly almost every time, they tend to break.
ОтветитьThis comes with the best RTR electronics. The power compared to the previous version is insane. It's also beefed up in all the right places. They fixed most the issues the customers complained about. Arrma is good about listening to customers for improvements. Unlike their rivals just doing what they want thinking our imput is not good enough. As you will never see customer based changes. Good on you Arrma!
ОтветитьWhere is this
ОтветитьAwesome letting random peeps drive it i have this same beast it’s so awesome
ОтветитьI know it's not a perfect world, but for 1000 bucks I feel it should have held up better to a few hours of bashing. If the intent was to build a truck for tricks and built to be tough. They have failed in the built to be tough claim. IMO
ОтветитьScrews pulling out ....screws backing out ? Design Flaw !..I own numerous Arrma vehicles and every one of them has design flaws that are never corrected with new models. Example...every Arrma comes straight out of the box with the front wheels flopping around like a flaccid pecker. Sorry just had to get that out.
ОтветитьThunder rc is the man when it comes to honestly and bashing. He but the arrma outcast throw the ringer and out did the xmaxx and distroyed the xrt on his channel with durability. Hope you will be this honest @RCdriver with Traxxas rc also, most people aren't about Traxxas.
ОтветитьI wasn’t really interested in this truck on release but thought they had done some nice updates. After seeing your video here Greg with everyone driving it I really would like to get one and may save for one come spring! Thanks for the great video 🇨🇦👋
Ответитьbloomin huge! 😂👍great video 😊👍
ОтветитьDriver 9 my boy Jeff 😂 Jeff!!
ОтветитьMuito bom ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьIs there a new version out now?
ОтветитьIt's a beast
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьI got the 8s blx version and absolutely love it . I like the stability of the 1/5 scale
Ответить🤘🏼🤘🏼
ОтветитьI don’t comment much on videos but I just have to say you’re my favorite of the many rc channels I’ve watched. You’re very detailed and honest in your reviews. Also, the music you use is definitely my style. I wish I knew the names of them. Keep up the wonderful videos because I look forward to them.
ОтветитьI guess that besides the music you could also have narrated a bit of what was happening, introduce the drivers, etc. :)
Good video as allways! I wish I had the moneys for something like these... 😁😁😁
Talk about sending it. Looks like those guys had a blast with a serious truck. Great video and idea, too bad about the sound loss but it came across great.
Ответитьfor all that rcm offers id really like to see it on other things than the 1 jump . for a grand and the size it took a beating and survived
ОтветитьGreat video love the beater testing … 😂
ОтветитьGood video👍 nicely done! Thanks for this video!
ОтветитьNeeds more gearing for air control
ОтветитьToo many issues. I'll go with xrt. Thanks.
Ответить👍😎✊
ОтветитьOMG poor outcast.
Ответить6S is still the sweet spot for these cars. Biggest enemy of the 1/5th scale outcast is the weight. It's parts are proportionally not large enough or strong enough for when that much weight hits the ground. Still a badass truck, but that same truck in 6s is bulletproof.
ОтветитьLove this video also the different driving type
ОтветитьDrill the F & R diff case with a 4mm drill bit and fit M5 x 25mm screws.
ОтветитьHeck yeah!!
ОтветитьI hav the 1/8 notorious it's a beast. But I broke my rear spoiler and Wheelie bar.
I also bent my front shock. The car still works !
5000mah 100c = about 10 min run time
ОтветитьMy only experience with Arrma is my Typhon Grom. That said, I have driven the dog shit out of it and haven't broken anything but the body (my dog caught it and went chomp, chomp), so that says alot about the durability of Arrma's products. Just wish they didn't have the Spektrum specific proprietary plugs like Traxxas does with their stuff. I'm gonna take a hard look at this thing, as I don't bash nowhere near this level. Should hold up well for my style of driving.
Ответитьhi mate, love the videos I was just wondering do you have the go pro mounted on your head or chest when recording?
ОтветитьThey are destroying your Outcast dude lol
Ответитьcool
