Northmen’s servers are awful. The owner is a POS and the moderators are notorious for false bans and ego-tripping. Buddy of mine got banned from a northmens server because a admin didn’t like him, they then proceeded to add him to a server wide blacklist (for cheating; he wasn’t), and now there’s loads of servers we can’t play on… Northmens servers owner created and owns this server-wide blacklist used by most community servers, so if you rub him or one of his admins wrong (doesn’t take much), your entire dayz experience could be ruined. Be warned when playing northmens servers… or do the smart thing and don’t play them at all.

I love base building. But it’s so ridiculously easy to break into them on console (same on PC?) I don’t bother anymore. I make shelters and crates! It’s such a shame.
