Glad to see you back. We need a catch up on reviews of the latest releases
ОтветитьSuper looking model , dig the snake-pit of piping crawling all over the smoke-box , awesome timbre to the dead-in synchrony sound . Can't be many out there in steam profile to top this lady !
ОтветитьI want one...
Ответитьlove this whistle and bell.
ОтветитьGreat sound, but an ESU LokSound would have also given the option of adding a fan driven smoke unit. Just saying...
ОтветитьHey man sweet locomotive love the sound.
ОтветитьThe minute a train jumps or jerks spells toy- brass or no brass...
ОтветитьAdam, I’m also a TCS fan and recently picked up some cell phone speakers to start a project on one of my brass locomotives.
(and have been scouting in-boiler locations). Where in the locomotive are the four speakers mounted, and what are the speaker and baffle dimensions (if you know). Would you be willing to pop the boiler off and shoe the installation?
You have earned yourself a new subscriber! Keep up the fabulous work man!
ОтветитьIs it n scale
ОтветитьWho did the paint, or is it factory painted?
ОтветитьBeautiful model. However, the firebox flicker is totally inappropriate for a coal burner. You only see the flame flicker on oil burners as they don't have an ash pan.(the ash pan prevents any visible signs of the fire on a coal burner, indeed if flames were visible in that area it would indicate a problem)
Just a minor rant from a pedant!
Nice model. I hear the bell. The price they get for those should have the bell rocking as well.
Ответитьim in love with that locomotive look at all those details and omg just a amazing locomotive
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful! Fire box flicker is a highlight! Do you do the decoder installation yourself?
ОтветитьThat's a great looking brass engine and sound really great too.
I am getting ready soon to convert some of my brass steam to DCC/sound, and it will be a challenge as my dad has sent me almost 60 brass steam engines over the years from train shows he used to attend in CA. (I am in NJ). I am likely to pick 10 to 15 of my favorites and convert one at a time myself. I am sure I will have my hands full with the cost and time factor to do the conversions. I will be selling on ebay most of the rest of the steam engines. Thanks for sharing this video. Your model is a beauty.
Phil
What type of steam locomotives is this?
ОтветитьVery nice there is a lot of detail though.. almost to much.. someone definitely put many hours of time in it and it’s beautiful.congrats
Ответитьcoupler clash is missing. the sounds of taking up slack and compression as it comes to a halt. Dreadful.
