First Look: Roku TV's New Fast Start Feature

Any idea HOW much more power the TV uses at idle with the Fast Start turned on?

BTW, not all Roku TV's have this feature. I have Roku 8.0 on mine, but I don't have the fast start feature. I wish I did. That looks cool!

I love the TCL Roku TVs! Im hoping TCL realizes who their demographic is and what they want. They need to make a TV that will incorporate an antenna AND be able to record OTA channels! It would be GREAT to combine OTA channels and recording ability with all the streaming channels that Roku offers. I dont think there is ANY TV or device that does it well today. Sling Air is close, but still doesnt have the OTA recording feature. Tivo is also close, but doesnt offer all the streaming channels that Roku does. Help me TCL Roku, you're my only hope!

How do you use the app to turn on & off your Roku TCL TV with the mobile app or remote app?

Any ideal how to use the app to wake the tv up using voice command as it states? Be nice to figure it out. I have the roku app instaled but dont know the voice.command to wake tv up. Cant find any info on it. Your video is tbe first i have seen on this feature. But we are supposed to also be able to use voice command. Any ideal how ??? Thanks

I think this feature broke my tv

When ever fast tv is on my philips roku tv and I turn the tv on there is no sound. Any fixes?

Is it possible for a onn Roku Tv to open with the Amazon Prime app when the tv is turned on ? In other wirds, not have to open and then scroll to the proper hdmi port.
