I never understood why it has to be left better than it was found !
ОтветитьMe forever missing The Wolf Pack.
Ответитьah man i used to hate range day. loved the shooting but hated the waiting 😂😂
ОтветитьWhen did Crafton become a Sergeant, I’m missing so much lore here
ОтветитьWhy do I get the feeling that Crafton is going to be a show host when he gets out? If he doesn’t get a commission and go career, that is.
ОтветитьMeanwhile, Roderic:
"I just like the bang bang"
BRASS PARTY
ОтветитьIsn't that what the tarps are for Sgt. Major? Lay'em down before hand on all the shooting positions so it's easier to collect the brass?
Ответить"you give one twizzler and your stuck with them for life" gold right there
ОтветитьI retired in 98, but i-d re-up for a stint in this unit.
ОтветитьYou can adjust the front sight post with a bullet or a gerber. There's even a gerber that comes with the toll for the front sight post.
ОтветитьI do have the lil do hicky to adjust the front sight post. Lol.
ОтветитьWhere is CW5 Billy Friendly???
ОтветитьMy range day at Ft Bliss with HHC 1AD Sustainment Brigage 0500 weapons draw 0600 range set up 0700 safety brief 0800 range hot 1130 lunch 1300 still waiting for ammo
ОтветитьI feel like Lane 5 is Roderick
ОтветитьMy boy crafton made NCO. What a killer
ОтветитьSurprised some enterprising E4 doesn't borrow a metal detector from EOD to find all the brass, would be a helluva lot easier than trying to find it all by sight.
ОтветитьChristianson is so relatable with that. Only the Army could make shooting guns not fun.
Ответить"Swear to God, Lane 5, you're killin' me."
GOLD!
😄😆😂🤣
It wouldn't be that bad if you got the occasional practice day where you can just put some rounds down range and actually get a feel for your gun without all the mixed up mags and shooting positions.
Ответить(TWENNY ROUND MAGAZEEN INTENSIFIES)
ОтветитьGoing to the Rang (KD) used to be a 2 week affair in the Marine Corp. Snap in week one come back following Monday early early morning. 1st round down rang at the 200 yard line at first light. Rang week was always pretty chill. Most shooters came from different units making for a different atmosphere than coming with an entire Line company. Once the first group of shooters finished up at the 500 meter line, they switched over with those in the pits pulling targets. Last round go's down rang, rang is declared cold. Police call, formation turn weapons into the armory, generally finished for the day around 15/1600 .
ОтветитьI wonder if the CSM finds brass or did he drop it from his pockets to screw with everyone.
ОтветитьHeard the cats 😅 now that's the truth
ОтветитьHey you know what, Thank the CSM for putting the gatorade powder in the water cooler... when we went to the range... our water was blistering hot
ОтветитьI literally used to have to call cease fire because children were running across the range and then continue to fucking fire when they ducked down behind rocks. That still fucks with me.
ОтветитьOh my Lord, I fall off for a little while and Crafton makes Sgt. WHAT?!
ОтветитьI leave for a few months and Crafton already an NCO, whaaaaaa?!?!
ОтветитьNATURRRRRRRRRE
ОтветитьPrior marine finishing up OSUT 12b AIT, can’t wait to see how the army does things on the range😂
ОтветитьWhen did Crafton become a Sgt?!
ОтветитьLane 5 actually has three 10 round magazines and is currently gaslighting himself into believing one is heavier so he stops looking like an idiot.
Ответитьwait...20 round mags are the largest mag the army has now for regular troops?? HUH?
ОтветитьI always loved range day and/or night! Especially as an NCO! I always got the retrains but when your NCOER says helped with 100% qualification it feels pretty doggone good!
ОтветитьWait…Crafton got promoted!? How did I miss that?
ОтветитьThe ole range day 😂😂. I just had eye surgery and the next day guess where i am at 😂😂. I hit 38 out of 40 but the ones i missed was embarrassing you know the ones you can throw a stick at 😂😂. My buddy said ill get them you just keep getting the ones the farthest away. Always had trouble with the close ones...
ОтветитьI always loved range day, even as an NCO. I always loved shooting, and the chance to shoot for free, with the only consequence of picking up brass and targets is ok with me. Later on as an NCO, I loved teaching, instructing, and directing. I always thought of it as oassing the torch rather than a miserable practice. But i know not everyone shares the same feeling.
ОтветитьI like range days. It’s like a nice family day out.
ОтветитьSo did Crafton finally qualify expert? I'm sure he got the right target this time.
ОтветитьRange day makes me suicidal
ОтветитьI loved range day... in my Bradley.
ОтветитьDid Christensen make Sergeant?
ОтветитьWhy do I feel like the bit with the 20-round mags is an actual conversation you've had?
ОтветитьI've caught myself saying "what's the problem lane 5?" Every time there's an issue.
ОтветитьJust had a range, and we picked up brass so well we were overweight by like 15lbs. We were hard working privates that day.
ОтветитьFuck range day. Don't know how but the Army found a way to make it both a tedious chore and boring as hell.
ОтветитьCrafton is doing so much better. LoL
ОтветитьMeanwhile, Roderick - somehow loads his rounds backward in his mag. Like, what the fuck?
ОтветитьNever had a bad range day tbh. Saw others have a bad range day. Never had a bad one myself lol
ОтветитьI was talking to our smoke (PSG if you aren't familiar with the term) I genuinely ask him "Smoke, how the fuck do they expect us to qualify in this shit when we barely shoot anything, on my 8 moths in the unit this the first time I came to the range, do you really EXPECT ME to qualify?" He just look at my, tired, with red eyes and he said "shut up, if you qualify, ima give you the day off" I was like "BET, YO GIVE A RIFFLE, IMA BOUT TO SHOOT EXPERT" I failed miserably but at least make smoke happy somehow, so yeah, range sucks
