I am with your daughter's concern for privacy. I would get a window shade or translucent one, which opens and closes remotely. This would still allow you to have that beautiful view, still.

I had to smile, that chainsaw has the bluntest blade I have seen. Nice sky light, is it possible to match the stain? As others have said I think you will regret not putting a couple more in.

I know it's all about the window and it's fab but I absolutely love the roof and the view from the roof.

I totally agree with putting another skylight in either your bedroom or on the left of the one you just put in. It will make a huge difference in the amount of natural light you will allow inside your home. Thanks for always sharing with us.

So glad you have put a skylight in the bathroom. I don’t tend to offer advice but as someone who has done a lot of house renovations i did make a comment in one of the videos about putting one in. Just image having a bath with a nice glass of Italian red wine looking up at the stars! What bliss. I would also really consider a window on the back wall even if it has no view (use frosted glass) that you can open for ventilation. Lack of good ventilation in bathrooms is the number one reason why mould occurs and with 3 ladies living in the house you’ll need it 😂. If you can afford to add skylights to the other rooms you won’t regret it. If the girls are worried about people being able to see in you can get electric controlled blinds thought these can be pricy.

male sure you get skylights that can be opened via remote control. No electrical cords required as the have small build-in solar panals which produce enough energy for the electric motor opening and closing the window. (e.g. velux)

Best investment ever!!!!!! Strongly suggest you get another skylight put in an area of the house that you can truly enjoy all day, watching the seasons and all the natural light just flooding in to the home WOW... Now is the time while the house is still open to easy modifications. Seriously consider another skylight - maybe 2 smaller ones...you will not regret it.

Those little critters will find their way to your home through those rocks “scorpions” “black willows” etc …. Scary!
