Solid review man. VERY solid. The only thing that has kept me away from this and the MPX is the price tag.

Since you messed with both how do you compare this with the sig mpx?

I want one so bad but they are so expensive (to me). I know they are worth it though.....I want a Landcruiser but drive a Tacoma ya know.....lol. Maybe one day

I recently bought one for my wife. It is wonderful and our favorite PCC (or PCP pistol caliber pistol). Recoil is extremely light and it is extremely easy to be accurate with it offhand. I have two more on order directly from CMMG. I also don't really have anything negative to say. I do like the trigger very much. I like it more than any other rack grade type or mil spec trigger. It is smooth with a clean break. Maybe a Geissele SSA would be better which I have on a couple of other PCCs that came with much worse mil spec triggers. We are leaving this one as is. The Banshee looks amazing, but quality control sucks from my perspective. I purchased a Banshee MK17 9mm and from the first magazine, the trigger reset is garbage. In my first outing I fired 100 rounds….probably 40 times the trigger failed to reset. Not sure I got more than 2 or 3 rounds in a row to fire. The gunsmith at the range took it apart and fiddled around with the safety and the trigger, then lubricated everything. But no real improvement. I contacted CMMG and they basically said I can send the gun back for repair (would take several months due to back log) or they will send me parts and I can try to fix it myself. I am reasonably handy, but not a gun smith. This sucks for a $1600 gun….all these reviews are positive….but they sell me a lemon and will do nothing about it. Don’t waste your money.

What color is the cerakote?

My 2022 banshee jams, is picky with mags, and the upper is showing considerable wear after 250 rounds. Compared to my sig Mpx and for the same price I’d much rather buy the sig. The Mpx shoots softer, eats all ammo types, looks and feels better and has never jammed not even once. Pass on Cmmg products and especially the banshee. Just buy the Mpx lol
