would you reccomend the shure microphone in this video or the akg perception 420? im having such a hard time deciding which microphone to buy. :(
ОтветитьHi, thanks for the video. I have a question regarding how did you get more sounds on Garageband, like acoustic guitar, grand piano, user patches and such. My version only has 4 limited sounds. Thank you.
ОтветитьHi you record vocal in mono they come out stereo? What if you wanna automate pan on vocals would you do that on each mono track I'm confused, I also tried recording with internal mic on mac but it picks fan sound please help
ОтветитьGreat stuff man!!
Ответитьi can't seem to get rid of the lag between what/what i play to when the sound comes out on garage band, any help using GB 10.3.2 . thanks in advance
Ответитьso useful thankss!!!
ОтветитьThank you for the video just what I needed
ОтветитьSounds like fight test by flaming lips
ОтветитьVery useful!! I love your vids, always very clear, thank you!
ОтветитьHey brother thank you so much I love this! It's pretty much exactly how recording goes down most days, it's a lot of troubleshooting. It's so coll that you let people in on your process and what it really looks like. Love the vids in general, mastering that GB
ОтветитьLove I, but the moving camera drives me crazy and gets me dizzy...
ОтветитьUh, the drum track is what I was watching this for mainly. You should put minus drum track in the title so I don’t have watch up to then.
ОтветитьI just have this app on my new iPad. Can I still make beautiful music?
ОтветитьThanks. what is your advise for those who don't have experience or bass instrument?
Ответить“Let’s look at it in the editor”
then you don’t show how you got there. Not a tutorial.
Do you recommend ipad pro ?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your knowledge. As a hobbyist I am not really interested in upgrading to more complicated, and expensive, software. Your tutorial really helped improve the quality of my GarageBand recordings.
ОтветитьCool channel. I don't miss those tascam tape machines at all. Every take had to be perfect. Lol
ОтветитьIn the old version of Garageband I could extend the drum track on screen until my desired end of the song, can i do that here ?
ОтветитьGet to the point! -_-Your prologue took almost 2 minutes. I want to learn.
ОтветитьHey Lewin (I hope I spelled that correctly), thanks for this! This is very helpful, educational, and informative! Plus, you're very entertaining! I look forward to seeing more of your videos! You just earned a new subscriber! :)
ОтветитьGreat video, great channel, full of very useful pieces of information. Thank you for making this series!
Ответитьthaynx~ soundz good😊im tryn to figure out if i bought the right mixer
ОтветитьHi, so around minute 3, you talk about using the editor as a vu meter and your's is good to go. How do I adjust mine if it's not? In my editor the signals are all the way to the top and the bottom.
ОтветитьI would have left the "Aw shhhiit" in.
ОтветитьI need to watch all these from beginning to end! Just switched DAWs to GarageBand, & there’s a big learning curve for me. 😞
ОтветитьCek cek cek cak cak
ОтветитьI am from South Africa, have my own one man studio at my home. There are a lot of things I am struggle a little bit.....is it possible that we can communicate per email please.
ОтветитьThanks again for the free tutorial. More power to you!
ОтветитьSir, you’re awesome!
ОтветитьMy garage band is duplicating my piano on track one, every time I try to record a vocal on track 2?
Help I can't get two separate recordings. One vocal, one Piano
Awesome 😃
Ответить3 mins in and I feel lost. I have the equipment but no the gear head mentality to twist and tweak a 1000s things.
ОтветитьAt the bass track and surprised you play the verse/chorus parts all the way through. I usually break these up, playing into the next part as if I were doing it all at once, but then stop and roll it back to the correct point. That way, if I screw up a part down the way, I just have to correct that one part, and not the whole track.
ОтветитьYou are using compression on your preamp. I think you should have mentioned this important point, right? Otherwise noobees won't understand this key information relevant to the recording input signal chain.
ОтветитьSo u record the drums first??
ОтветитьHi there. Great video. I have a question for you. Would I need a pre amp for my Shure am 57 to record a classical guitar if I’m running the mic into a Yamaha MG10XU mixing board with built in preamps? I don’t have any problems when I’m miking my guitar amp but when I am miking my classical or singing it’s a very weak signal. I don’t want to raise the output on the board because that leads to audio distortion. I’m learning to use GarageBand’s settings better but it’s still slightly weak and has audio distortion in lower registers on my classical guitar. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Ответитьdude...
ОтветитьWhere is your competed song. I would love to hear the finished product. It sounds great through the recording process!
Ответитьnajs
ОтветитьThanks Bro
ОтветитьWhere do you get the drum track?
ОтветитьI thoroughly enjoyed this - wish I'd found it sooner. You are a fantastic teacher!
ОтветитьI'm grateful for your content! I was able to get an entire album multitracked live and videoed with an Iphone and Macbook. Turned out better than I thought. Again, thanks for what you do!
ОтветитьDo you also use logic? M1 Mac mini? I’m trying to design my new system. I own logic 9. I use GarageBand on an old 2009 iMac to just get my ideas down. It’s amazingly capable.
ОтветитьBefore I record voice or music what shall I do?
Ответитьhaha this song HAS to be inspired by "Father and Son", you know, the song in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2. Love it
