C6 Kinich is clearly better but the c0 comparison was not fair because Kinich is a nuke character so using Klee to buff+ the fact that his first canon hits harder than the rest makes him clears faster( similar to Navia) but alhaitham's rotation lasts longer and is more relevant in abyss

My brain is too smooth to understand how to use Kinich so I personally find AlHaithams rotation fun to do. But I like Kinich way better than Al in personality

My classmate has c6 alhaitham too, and she said that alhaitham whale comp is better with spread than quickbloom since he has bigger dmg with spread but not consistent because of furina blooms

Her team and rotation was like this
Fischl (c6) skill - furina skill- them burst - nahida skill - nahida burst - back to furina charge attack for the healing skill then - fischl burst then switch to alhaitham and do his rotation

Furina can't buff alhaitham's dendro bonus,and furina also can't buff dendro reaction damage for alhaitham and furina hydro apllication is too slow for alhaitham

i think it’s silly to say one is better than the other. these comments need to stop arguing. they have their own specialties and situations where they thrive, this is what’s so cool about them. Alhaitham is an AoE focused reaction driven dendro dps, and Kinich is a single target atk scaling frontloaded dps nuker, they are strong in their own individual rights. Saying one is better than the other is like saying Furina is better than kazuha, it depends on the team comps.

Kinich can nuke but his AoE fell short. Both has different teams anyway. Anyone doesn't have any reason to replace alhaitham with kinich in hyperbloom team. Just use both of them on different chambers lol

C0 alhaitham vs c0 kinich alhaitham wins overall, the aoe and just being able to use hyperbloom is so good (kinich is a bit better is single target tho). When we talk vertical investment, then kinich wins without a doubt, the constellations started being broken from fontaine on

The reason people still say Alhaitham is stronger than Kinich is because in Most Scenarios , He is AOE Based ; He can target multiple people aswell , Unlike Kinich , who relies heavily on his cannon which most of the time shoots on 1 target (Sometimes 2 but rare)

Same thing goes with Mualani and Neuvilette , Neuvilette is stronger than Mualani because of Aoe situations , He can do multi-target scenarios more effectively than Mualani due to her single target NUKE

-I love that Natlan characters don’t seem to powercreep other characters but just be characters but put into different playstyle ; higher damage but single target or AOE (basically opposite to that of the original) , So I can’t wait for Mavuika! By the way ; Same thing with Xilonen now , She hasn’t powercrept Kazuha , She is just a Kazuha but put into other aspects (Kazuha has Grouping and DMG Bonus while Xilo has Res Shred and Buffs)

its like saying mualani is a better overall dps than neuvillette because she has higher ST damage. kinich vs alhaitham st is almost the same slightly favoring kinich MARGINALLY but considering alhaithams aoe coverage is better its kinda obvious whos better overall.
