The Powers of Matthew Star (2017 reboot)

hope they make a modern remake and story even if a short series with alternative ending wherein all of his powers evolve earth wind water fire ice electricity time and elements and spatial astralnomics. total evolution.

That was awesome editing. You should really try to get onto working on actual shows and etc. Don't waste your talents.

Great Job! But you know what, and I'm not trying to be a downer but in the 80s there was only one or two shows that had people with amazing powers but the show was years apart such as "misfit of since in 82 or 83, The Powers of Matthew Star was in 84 I believe, my years might be off but the shows was years apart and only short lived but if they do a reboot, I'm afraid it won't be anything special I'm afraid because we have a patheons of TV shows with people having powers and such, and when they tried to bring back some of the old classics such as Knight Rider, Charlie Angles, Bionic Woman, Mcgyver ( don't know if that's still on but I haven't seen it rescently) and Wonder Woman( OMG!!!! 😵😵😭😭)
THEY ALL FAILED.

The original 1982-83 series has been released on DVD since this past summer. It can be purchased on the Visual Entertainment, Inc. (VEI) website.

This is one series that really doesn't need a reboot.

This is infinitely better than the original. "The Powers of Matthew Star" is probably one of the worst TV shows ever produced.

Ha-ah! No way. No no no no! Nobody can replace Peter Barton as Matthew Star. No one. He is irreplaceable. Peter Barton will always be Matthew Star. Always.

I heard about this video in comments on an article about Matthew Star on another site. Much better graphics today + writing that knows how to retool & retcon with plausible transitions could give the franchise a better shot now. CBS or Paramount+ would have a winner. Regardless, using Supergirl footage without her in it was a nice touch, lol.
