I built my own n8n machine. Unlimited free forever. All you need is a linux system to first install docker then n8n. My system I running OpenSuSE Leap 15.6. It isn't some powerhouse gaming box. Cost somewhere in the $500 - $600 range. I build my own PCs.

really appreciate this video but BOLT has been terrible honestly for me. Everything I try and build results in an endless refreshing white screen. It keeps encountering chrome errors and 401 errors on anything built. Not sure why but quite a few people complain about similar issues. shame.

Have you tried Contabo and Hetzner? Hostinger and DigitalOcean are generally considered beginner-friendly, but I'm not sure if they offer the best value when it comes to the price-to-resources ratio, performance and reliability.
