I ve heard Garanca live and her voice sound much of a soprano ,not a lyric of course , she goes very hight for a mezzo ,can anyone confirm or am i wrong?

I desperately wanted to like this. I do like her phrasing, but it feels too heavy and slow for Tosca. Elina is a wonderful mezzo, but just because you can sing an aria doesn’t IMHO you should

Never heard of conductor Karel Mark Chichon (searched & found out) but liked very much. Expectedly wonderful singing. Brava/Bravi.

Why tranposed... It's very well known aria and it's very obvious. If you can't sing it in the original key, better don't sing it at all. And what are you afraid of.. it's not that high, Elena Obraztsova, a dramatic mezzo, sang this in the original key.

Eine geeignete Stimme für Tosca muss STRAHLEND sein, nicht dunkel und weich... Es gab keine Arien mehr?
