Couldn't you buy a large paper cutter? That would save more time. Talking about the kind used in offices. Very efficient operation. Love the fragrance of cinnamon or African blue basil. Thanks.
ОтветитьGood information on this video ❤
ОтветитьI love marigolds but I have customers that say they hate the smell of them. Do you use any special variety that doesn't have such a strong marigold type scent? How may stems per bouquet are you doing?
ОтветитьHi , do you know the thickness of the craft paper you use for the flowers wrapping.
Or even a link to the one you buy. Thanks
Best video ease of bouquet making.
ОтветитьGreat Tutorial, Thank you! Could you share the size of your buckets, please? - Assuming 2 GAL?
ОтветитьМолодцы! Красивые букеты. Бумага размер напишите пожалуйста. Ато я не понимаю вас. Просто смотрю.
ОтветитьAfter you have wrapped the bouquets, do you put them in water to preserve freshness? Doesn't the paper wrap get in the water?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your wisdom!
ОтветитьI want to thank you for showing your process. I implemented a couple of new ideas from watching you, including cutting on leftover flooring. Lol.
ОтветитьThank you so much for making these videos, as a new farmer I very much appreciate the effort you put into sharing your knowledge. Have you ever run out of water in any of the buckets from extremely thirsty stems? I live off farm and am wondering about cutting and storing overnight. So far I've been using a cooler and having an awful time with it losing a lot of precious stems. Looking into making a flower cottage such as yours!
ОтветитьThank you so so much. What height is your bouquet on average??
ОтветитьDo you put water in the bucket after you wrap them all? Just curious…
ОтветитьToo much talk,,,,,,,,
ОтветитьWhich marigold do you grow?
ОтветитьWhat size are your rubber bands?
ОтветитьHola Buenos días
Soy d Ecuador
Quería saber si puedo poner ése nombré a mí emprendimiento, no habría problema, me encantó para mis arreglos florales
Muchas gracias a su respuesta d ante mano❤
Bendiciones
Thank you for sharing! I am going to try your method this year. I end up spending so much time with this part.
ОтветитьNew to this channel. You are simply amazing! I learned so much!!!
ОтветитьWhere do you buy the paper to wrap your bouquets?
ОтветитьThis video all by itself, has given me the confidence to finppy put together market bouquets! THAAAANK YOU!
ОтветитьNew Subscriber here, what a fantastic video, super helpful, concise and I learned alot new!
ОтветитьU line has precut sheets that may be cheaper than Amazon. Love your videos! Thank you as I think through how I might be able to do a flower stand. I so appreciate your expertise.
ОтветитьYou’re exactly what I was looking for 🎉thank you
ОтветитьCan't wait for my blooms to start! <3 Melaina's Flower Field
Ответитьthe time vs. profit you keep mentioning is a sad reminder for me! I've been selling 5-focal-stem $5 bouquets (mainly dahlias, roses and lilies) for 5 years (because people seem too cheap to find more money even when I tried selling at $10) and they seem SO underpriced now. Often people just give spare change, too, and don't even pay $5! Any advice? I'm in British Columbia. Thanks.
ОтветитьI'm definitely more into the design part of floristry with the flower's that I'm growing. But this video is still relevant to me, very educational and honest. It teaches me to look rationally on your work and not just from an artistic angle. Thank you 😊
ОтветитьAre you using any florafresh or other additives in the buckets at all stages from harvest to marketplace?
ОтветитьYou need a chopper that will cut the entire bouquet at the end. There is one for florists that resembles a paper cutter.
ОтветитьI assume that you put an inch of water in the market bucket so they stay fresh, while in the stand?
ОтветитьSo helpful. Thank you! I just had to log in to comment and ask a quick question. Do you always leave that much foliage on your zinnias and marigolds? I’ve been stripping them right back, but for market bouquets the extra green looks great. Thanks again for all of your incredibly helpful content 😊
ОтветитьLoved this video! Do you have a breakdown of how you price each flower?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your expertise!!!
ОтветитьAre preservative packets included?
ОтветитьThis is so incredibly helpful! I’m hoping to have floral bouquets on my first year farm stand and this was exactly what I needed to see. I’ve spent the last 5 years selling vegetable starts then donating my excess veggies in the summer. This year I’m adding a stand to the mini farm.
ОтветитьGreat video..this has got to be the all around best video I’ve watched on practical bouquet making..thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for the video, I'm in my 3rd year and still learning 😂
ОтветитьI've been binging your videos this week. Thank you so much, this has been so incredibly helpful!
ОтветитьVery informative. What variety of marigolds are in the video?
ОтветитьHow do you come up with your bouquet recipes? I’d love a video on the process of how you decide each week. You do such a fantastic job at these videos, so thank you so much!
ОтветитьI am entering my second year of flower farming and there is so much good information out there but not nearly enough on marketing and efficiency, and that is exactly what I needed to hear. I would love to hear how you succession sow (my other downfall). I've subscribed, so now I have the fun job of watching everything you have! (I also home schooled by nine kids but they are all adults now.) Blessings, from Vancouver Island.
Ответить❤ love you guys ❤
ОтветитьNice! What is the posted speed limit on your main road there? Our driveway is off a highway, and traffic usually goes by at 80km/hr or more. I'm not sure I should even be considering a roadside stand. 😂
ОтветитьYour work space is so organized. Mine is like … 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWouldn ´t it be easier to have a bench with rolls, have the buckets to select the stems for the bouquets and when your done with the flowers put/roll it underneath your table? Watch your back for health issues😀 your videos are awesome. Very enjoyable! Do you know YT channel „You can ´ t it the grass“ a flower farm in Canada. You are very efficient with your work👍Congrats!
ОтветитьThis was worth watching,I have learned from that!😄So hopefully I can be more efficient in my tasks! Thanks for your time.
ОтветитьAmazing lesson.thanks😊
ОтветитьI love your system. I will apply it if ever will do flowers for sale.
ОтветитьThank-you so much for sharing your process. We started up our native flower farm in Monarto South Australia 18 months ago. We are hoping to specialise in Banksia’s in time. You have given me some ideas on how l can make a start with our proteas, leucadendrons & abundant foliage for our farm stand and markets in the future. Thanks again you have given me the confidence to move forward 😃
Ответить"Your videos are not only beautiful in terms of content but also in how you edit them ! keep sharing the awesome videos."🌹🌹🌹❤💖💞"
