Handel 1742 Messiah Oratorio HWV 56 Hervé Niquet Le Concert Spirituel

Even though, this is not the 1742 version, because the new version of the aria "Thou art gone up on high" was composed for the alto-castrato Gaetano Guadagni in 1750.

I like nervousness of this performance. It is similar to my personality . Thanks maestro Hervé Niquet

The coda choir with additional drums effect is superb
