Absolutely not! what happened to yuri was totally harsh for saying nigga in an online cod match. This is because the word has too much power in today’s world…especially to the black ppl of today who never was in slavery! But want to gate keep a word even if it’s nigga which is total nonsense. I think Vips situation was blown out to far IMO, yes what he said was not good, but he is also a kid from Estonia (and i assume English is his second or more language).
The slur is something that originates from a foreign country and doesn't have the same historical issues as the USA, add to this that so much music and movies come from the US use this word a lot almost glorifying it.

If he had used a slur from Australia that he didn't really know the true meaning from it, id be more inclined to pull him aside, educate him and go from there.

Yuki didn't get fired for saying a slur, something that is probably universally known.

As outsiders and fans of the sports, we often just see all the glitz and glam. And sure, the drivers may make a lot of money doing what they do. But being scrutinized by everyone in F1 and millions of people around the world is not a simple thing to manage. You can't please everyone and the haters will get into your head if you don't have some thick skin. Thank you Kym for highlighting the flip side of the coin.

It annoys me how some people think they are entitled to a picture or autograph. Just on tiktok today myself and alot of others were arguing in the comments because they weren't happy that Lando didn't stop for the people waiting. One person was even saying how lando should stay there and sign something for every single person there even if it took over an hour which is crazy. A lot of people need to realise that they also have things to do and they stop when they can but they can't always do it.

Some people seem to forget drivers or not, they are just people like us with feelings and emotions. Everyone of us can screw up and even they do, while it is easy to judge from a distance, or on social media, most of us would crumble in their shoes with the pressure drivers have to face each day. There's a fine line between constructive criticism and outright toxicity!

This is a hard topic to discuss. But I think the Vips situation was harsh. I think the boy deserved a second chance. I see politicians do worse stuff on a weekly basis but they dont loose their career over it. Vips was a boy who screwed up big time, but he was clearly regretful and willingly took responsibility for his actions. I dont think he would have done the same mistake twice. And from what I see it was a mistake and a fuckup, not something that represents the person he actually is. I dont think he should have lost his career over his very poor choice of words.

May I ask what the dress code is for the Paddock club or recommended wear for a couple in their 50’s? Last year we were in the Fountain club, wore a suit, not sure that was necessary plus it was extremely cold when you stood outside. Any recommendation for the Paddock Club? Thanks

In regards to Juri Vips, read your contract and understand exactly what you're signing. I used to work for a several corporations. My contracts said inside OR outside of work, if your actions reflected negatively on the company, you spoke ill of the company or branding, you were caught saying or photographed doing something illegal, negligent, offensive, etc., you could be fired. They have it in there that they do check on your social media as well if its public. Theses companies DO NOT care about you when you go out of pocket, and why should they? They care about their brand and their reputation. They will never hesitate to bury you, and pretend like you were never hired. With enough bad press, your actions can cost a company millions, so if you can't keep it to yourself or be a decent human being, don't hop on social media live for any reason in your free time, don't do illegal stuff, don't get caught up with the wrong people. Important lesson for many to learn who are young and on social media. It will haunt you and it's forever.
