needs updates and add number 1 contender matches, injury matches where wrestlers return to massive pop, of course a draft and intros that has coomentary explaining the match card and Main event ,also add characters persona to wrestlers, so undertaker has dark , doink has comedy, goldberg has tough guy, so cutscense match their persona. seems like lots of excuses and explanations but not alot of working, what do these devs actually do its ben 4 years now and it took yukes 1 to make wwe12 universe

I just played an NXT card in universe I had a custom match in it when I was done the card reset itself like I didn't do anything plus the Liv/Dom is set to single entrance & it will crash the game

Lol the vindictive replacement cutscene example he gave is one of the cutscenes after the patch that can not be a title match. You can't even select the character you're replacing

I'll be honest, I'm probably on my own with this but I want texts back for promos. Personally, I dislike the segment with zero dialogue from the wrestlers and the commentators isn't cutting it. If universe mode is supposed to replicate the actual product then it should have actual verbal discourse between opponent's.

I don't mean the terrible texts from 18, 19 or 20. I mean a good roundabout of personality specific texts because I know getting everybody would be too much but moreso a generalized character base with branched options so it could fit alot of similar characters categories in it.

It still sucks the fact that you can do a promo, but nobody’s talking in 2025 is ridiculous. Then on top of that there is no intro of the starting of the show on the game. It goes straight to a match.

I'd just be happy if they overhauled the fan reaction system. The crowd reactions are weird and not loud enough. If you're going to have a power rankings system, at least make it to where the higher up you are, the louder the crowd cheers or boos. 🤷🏾

I love universe mode. Without it, I probably wouldn’t buy the game. But we have to be realistic with this mode. Some things I see fans ask for, 2K might has well add aspects of story designer back to this game. Without that, we’re not going to get what we’re asking for. If anyone remembers story designer, you know how in depth that was. I used to upload and download created storylines and play them out. That gave the game longevity. Add that freedom of customization to Universe Mode structure, and we have something we can really enjoy.

I keep seeing #1 contenders match… what’s wrong with manually doing it? I do stuff like 4-way tag match and the winners get a rivalry with the champs unless I have a better story going on

Its truly sad that we still cant get pro wrestling in our pro wrestling game. We need segments not promos. We need show openers, GMs for each show making matches, Back stage interviews. Universe mode right now is still only about the match. The match is 1/4 of the show.

Why is universe more limited now than before? lol the technology is better…you used to be able to write all promos and there was a lot of scenes. They need to smarten up and focus on quality instead of modes that have micro transactions!

We also need rivalries that don’t consist of either 2 people or a tag team. Let’s have at least triple threat rivalries between 3 characters

I want some stuff that add to atmosphere of universe mode, like in NBA 2K they show the players coming to the arena or sitting in the locker room before the game and WWE shows that on TV also.

Also WWE always show a landscape shot or a view of the arena. That’ll be a fun way to make the game more immersive.

First, I wanna start with saying I’m not always trying to be negative about the game all right I love the WWE games and this year you know with the promo system and some of the new updates like the 2PLE thing it actually got me to play universe mode this year and it’s the first time I’ve actually got into it this year. I should also mention I should mention that, but I’ve noticed some issues some minor issues but two issues. I’m having that bug me to the end at least the way I play universe mode for first and this is the one that really needs to be fixed. Every time I go to look at the shows and look at the titles on the shows my game crashes keep in mind. I am playing on PS five. I say that because I don’t know if it’s happening just for PS five players or if it’s happening for everybody, but that’s my first issue second issue has something to do with custom titles And mix tag teams I want to put together a mixed tag team division. I even made a custom belt, but the problem is I can’t use the belt the proper way it won’t let me like for example. I can’t. Here’s an example if I wanted to take someone like Bray Wyatt, and like an Alexa Bliss and put them together now I will say I’m using this as an example. I don’t actually use real wrestlers. The only two real wrestlers. I actually use are Brock Lesnar and edge that I downloaded from the community creations Other than other than that I don’t like to use custom you know I don’t I mean I like to use custom superstars in my universe mode that’s like literally what I love to do like I only use custom superstars unless I’m like really wanting to use like real superstars in my universe mode That’s not the issue the issue is I want to put together a mixed tag team division, but I can’t do it because the title bill won’t work properly. I don’t know if that’s a glitch. I don’t know if it’s a you know if it’s just because they just brought back intergender wrestling this year and there’s some limitations on it, especially in universe mode But I think that should just be addressed because it’s an issue I’m having and it kind of breaks my universe mode a little bit. I just think it should be addressed so hopefully someone sees his comment and addresses it to 2K because it’s an issue. I’m having the one that’s really bugging me and it absolutely does need to be fixed. I would say almost immediately is the titles crashing my game what I mean is every day to make it simpler to understand basically Can load up universe mode perfectly fine. I can play my universe mode perfectly fine but if I need to go and edit one of my shows or something say I need to go edit raw or something and I need to check like oh is this title on the show or did I put the right title on the right show or something like that, I can look at the first Two titles on the show once I go down to my third title on the show my game crashes in it and it does it every time it happened to me before recently. I thought maybe it was a one time thing because it happened like a few days ago and it happened once and then I went and reloaded the game and I didn’t have the issue again until now so I don’t know if and I noticed we got an update yesterday so that update might’ve broke that completely, so hopefully the next update can fixed. Hopefully the next update can fix the issues I’m having and hopefully 2K can address the issue or if there are some limitations on intergender wrestling in universe mode Because if there are then OK, I can understand that but after now if there’s not supposed to be limitations on it then why am I having trouble making a mixed tag team division? Just thought I’d address those issues in case someone else is having those issues are trying to do the same thing as me And I should’ve. I should reiterate I’m not trying to be negative all the time I love playing universe mode it’s just that I’m trying to bring awareness to issues that I’m having in case other people are experiencing the same thing. I love these games. I wanna say that now I love playing these I mean for goodness sake. I’m going back cause I was born in 2004 so I never got to enjoy the Older WWE games like here comes the pain shut your mouth the original SmackDown versus raw series I mean, I think a year ago now I got the very first SmackDown versus raw game for the PS2. I had to get a PS two I got one for Christmas last year and Ironically, I went to this old retro gaming store around where not around where I live, but it’s in the state obviously it’s in the state where I live. I think it’s like 45 minutes away from where I live at I think but nonetheless I digress on that I got the game for like 13 bucks at that retro gaming store. I went to it was actually really great deal Then I think last week or two weeks ago now I got my hands on SmackDown versus raw 2010 for the Xbox 360 and I will admit that game is awesome. I do have one thing to say about that. It is kind of misleading on the whole intergender wrestling thing in that game cause I went into that game thinking there was intergender wrestling like there is in the original SmackDown versus raw game and like the games that came before it and All that like honestly, I thought it still had intergender wrestling the same way like how two cases were like how WWE 2K 25 has intergender wrestling and how the original like WWE games had intergender wrestling so I will admit that was kind of disappointing but overall I love these games And if anyone does see this comment and wants to know what my very first WWE game was it was WWE 2K 20 yeah I started with the worst WWE game to exist and I didn’t know what I was doing at the time. I kind of just enjoyed the game for what it was frankly when I got the game I didn’t even know what WWE I knew what WWE was and I knew I knew who the rock was. I knew who John Cena was I knew who Stone Cold Steve Austin was, but I didn’t really get into wrestling until like last year so Like my entry point into wrestling was wrestlemania 40 and now that I’m really into wrestling I mean I went back got my hands on WWE 2K 14 for the 360 and I’m loving that game like I’m trying to play all the retro WWE games because I never played them as a kid That’s how much I love the WWE series or the games in general it’s just that with the modern games especially with 2K 25. I just noticed some issues and if we don’t point out the flaws of the games they’re not gonna get fixed so again I’m not trying to be negative. I love the games. I really do. It’s just that I can’t have the game crashing on me when I’m trying to fix or adjust something on one of my shows in universe mode. and the thing about the thing about the mixed tag team title belt you know my whole thing about that. It’s not a major problem like it’s not a game breaking glitch. If it is a glitch it’s not a game. I’m not a game not crashing because of it. It’s just kind of annoying because it it kind of ruins. One of my divisions a little bit.

You know everybody’s talking about stuff that they should bring back or add I think everybody universally would agree with me after they read this comment. Hopefully, they should bring back the career mode from SmackDown versus SmackDown versus Rod days and the road to wrestlemania mode and yes, I actually am playing what I’m playing. I’m gonna play all the road, wrestlemania modes and SmackDown versus raw 2010 since I got my hands on that game And I actually like the road to wrestlemania mode. It’s really cool. They should bring it back cause I’d love to see a modern road to wrestlemania. Honestly, I’d love to see a modern road to wrestlemania see how that would work. Heck you could pick like four or five tops the top stars of that year and then you could have their road to wrestlemania for example you want to this year 2K 25 one of the like if you wanted to have like one female or two female options, you could’ve done EO sky, and Rhea Ripley‘s road wrestlemania modes, and then as a males you could have Cody‘s road to wrestlemania specially now that it’s you know I wouldn’t say yeah his thing is complete. You could do Cody Rhodes. You could do Randy Orton wrestlemania, especially considering you know we just finished wrestlemania this year and anyway Randy Orton celebrating his anniversary his anniversary at wrestlemania this year or you could do this you could do like maybe one heel or you could do like you could have like four choices plus you know a custom character slot you could do it like this you could have like a heel road to wrestlemania so you could do someone like Tiffany Stratton or Chelsea Green as a heels and then you could have like a pure baby face you know that’s on the female side of things on the heels John Cena wrestlemania this year you could you could you could you could have John Cena wrestlemania now his modern one because I know they had one back and SmackDown versus 2002 2010 I mean or you could do. This is another option you could divide it you could have like maybe two top stars and two mid corridors so like for example, top guy big you know like top star like someone like Cody Rhodes Road wrestlemania then you got like another top guy like either John Cena or Randy Orton Heck you could do a legacy Road to wrestlemania. I don’t know how possible this would be but if you took some of Bray Wyatt‘s promos and cut some of the dialogue together, I put like put the dialogue together and have you take some you probably have to pull a little bit of an AI trick for it to really really work but you could do bright white. It’s a road to wrestlemania and you can call it like a legacy road to wrestlemania mode where you know Bray Wyatt it’s like it’s like road to wrestlemania That be kind of fun. I would love to see a modern road to wrestlemania in this era. it be kind of fun and I’d love to see the characters they pick like I said on the female side of things you can pick someone like EO sky Rio, Ripley Chelsea Green Tiffany Stratton as much as I hate her I mean she’s a heel so that’s kind of the point you’re supposed to hate her she’s a heel that’s literally the point but nonetheless, you could pick someone like sky Rhea Ripley Bianca Bel-Air Jade Carhill, Liv Morgan that’s like that’s the females.
