My computer shut down every time I tried to export this video. Took me 6 hours to figure it out so there is a few glitches towards the end of this video that I couldn't fix, I apologize.
Let me know if you have any questions, I respond to everyone :)
Thank you so much for this very informative video!
Asking you here again to be doubly sure - Is a 60hz 4K monitor good enough for 4K video editing?
brother.. i have a quick q.. is a 32" 2k monitor good for video/photo editing..? or do i have to go for 4k (far too expensive) at 32"..
ОтветитьBro made a definition xD
may thanks to you mate <3
Bro is HIM
ОтветитьCould’ve charged money for this video, thank u 🙏
ОтветитьAll I can say is ...Thank You!!
ОтветитьCan you tell me your thoughts about the Philips 27M1C5500VL?
For my budget, it's the best thing available in my country right now. But I want to make sure it's a good monitor for photo/video editing.
Underrated video. Good job
Ответитьthe ports confuse me a bit... I get the stuff being relevant for gaming, where you actually watch images at 144hz+. But for video editing or pictures, it only boils down to wether your port (and your camera) supports 10bit or not right? because a video is usually between 24 and 30fps, meaning a 120fps shot gets displayed at that rate anyway in a 24p timeline making it possible to do slowmos. So for sole video or photo editing the hz is irrelevant, but the bit-support is the deciding factor if I am correct? Thanks fr that video, was aperfect overview
ОтветитьGreat video Tymek! I am learning how to edit videos and create content. I am looking for a 38 to 40 inch curved monitor that is able to be wall mounted (Vesa 75 to 100mm). Would you mind listing a few with decent specs that you would recommend please? Tia!!
Ответитьtwo years later. Still amazing video! 🙂
Ответитьexcellent video man
ОтветитьFor the money at $350 my wife went with the Asus Pro Art 2K Monitor w/90W USB-C connection and 144hz with the 100% on everything but DCI-P3 which was at 95%. Was a no brainer for everything you're getting. Being that she does Crochet videos, and does them at high bit rate 1440P resolution and then converts them to 1080p because of the run time.
Ответитьhello, Is 60 hz refresh rate good for editing?
ОтветитьWow! You've packed A Lot of great tech info in a small amount of time.
(Just the way I like it!) 🤓
Thank you!
Ответитьvery good informative video with no fluff, concise info, helpful illustrations, and great delivery. Can't believe that was 18 minutes!
ОтветитьGreat job!
ОтветитьMarvelous in depth guide. Thanks for making it.
ОтветитьThanks for this video! Really appreciated the way you broke everything down and made it super understandable 💪
ОтветитьThis guy really mentioned a to z for monitors buying guide
ОтветитьThis helped me a ton. Thank you.
ОтветитьA contrast ratio of 9000:3 is tha same as 3000:1 and the same as 3000. Math beginner knowledge. Also you did not mention real world contrast. Dark room contrast is totally irrelevant, except you are in a dark room!
Ответитьwhat is the ideal hertz and type of monitor on editing?
ОтветитьWhich is good for video editing, ips with led or ips with lcd?
ОтветитьSo, which monitor did you pick?
ОтветитьThis video is highly underrated! The amount of information available and in the easy understanding of that is so good. I have been looking to purchase a monitor and this helped a lot!
ОтветитьWell explained..Thank you so much bro.. I'm looking for a monitor for video editing, but a gaming monitor has all qualities of video editing as you mentioned above. Thank you much for the clarity..
ОтветитьExtremely helpful! Thank you
ОтветитьHow many nits i need as an editor and which the best specifics should i see in the monitor for editing.. İ need monitor for this work and at the same time for high refresh gaming if you can help 🙆🏻♂️
Ответитьgood concise information
ОтветитьInfo you shared is pretty awesome, thank you! I would say buying a graphics card is cumbersome, too.
ОтветитьAwesome video thank you
ОтветитьWow. Man it's very rare I'd give a compliment. You're very very good at delivering data and details. I'm writing down and I'll have to look back. So much value
ОтветитьGreat video. Have you used the Viewsonic 2768-4k or the 2785-4k? I am stuck between those and BenQ PD2706U, or their SW271C models.
ОтветитьBro, I just wanted a monitor 😅
ОтветитьLegendary video my man! Thank you so much for all the amazing information. 🙏❤️🤘
ОтветитьThe monitor I’m thinking to buy has these specs and I’m planning to use it to both game and edit.
Specs:
Refresh rate: 165hz
Response time: 1ms (mprt) 4ma (gtg)
350 cd/m2
3500:1 (typical) 80 milliom:1 (dcr)
Color Gamut:
NTSC 96%(CIE1976)/sRGB 126%(CIE1931)/DCI-P3 87%(CIE1976)
Display Colors 16.7M
Is this good enough? Currently on a budget and this is around $140 monitor
Thanks a lot for the info, now I know what monitor to pick.
ОтветитьA great video with a heap of information on every aspect of technical information about a display or monitors.. thanks a lot..
ОтветитьToo lazy to reshoot. Wow good luck.
Ответитьcommenting for more reach of this video
ОтветитьAbsolute goldmine of information!
Ответитьthnxxxx
ОтветитьThis is a great taxonomy of the decision points in choosing a monitor.. i have just two weeks building my knowledge to add an additional 32 " monitor. Now i find the perfect decision path.. this video has really solidified my approach.. thank you so much for your work.. one question... why dont we use some of the gaming monitors.. 32", 4k , 140hz refresh, 500 nits, 10 bit colour space, 90% DCI-P3, 100% Rec 709.. if its on a gaming monitor, do you know why we don't use them.. or do we??
ОтветитьCrazy amount of information with no bias! This is incredible value. Found out that the monitor I have does no justice to the beast of a camera Panasonic S5 that I have.
Nevertheless, this is amazing information and I truely respect the time and efforts that you have to put in to create this video. A big salute. Subscribed! (The very least I can do)
I been editing from 720p insignia tv. Maybe why im going blind 😅
But since both my monitors just burnt out, this video was helpful!
I needa buy new one asap! Sigh 😢
would you please recommed something to me for video editing in max budget 700 USD?
ОтветитьThanks Tymek for this incredible research and fantastic amount of information shared. They are so useful,
