a tip for shifting: when a bike doesn't want to shift, roll the bike back and forth, as you try to shift. Usually whatever is keeping it from shifting will realign and allow the shift to happen.

FZ07 is a hooligan bike...its called MT07 in EU for a reason (Monster Tourque). Ride it between 3-7k and do wheelies all day!

I really don't want to be negative or condescending, but you must change your shifting ''habit'' You shouldn't cruise in 2-nd at 50km/h (worse if mph) Stretching high revs so much make me cringe, let alone cruising that way. It's torture for machine. Slowing down, you never shift in 1-th. In corners, you go in 2-nd, that is just before turning you put it in 2-nd and go through corner. Always take corners in second, no matter how slow. In fact, You should never put it in1-th while (stil) moving. Only on complete stop.

hi! your vids are inspiring for beginners, my first bike was a scooter, then a honda xrm, then im learning how to ride the FZ16, im still learning cuz im used to scooters AT bikes ahaha my brother rides HDs but i want to ask what is the best bikes for beginners cuz i really want to get one, im just borrowing the FZ haha

You may not intend to sound like an "idiot" however, you clearly do not understand the rev range of a motorcycle. As an FZ07 owner I can tell you that the shifting of this ride is quite simple. You were constantly over revving and ignoring the whine of the engine indicating a need to upshift (if the dash display with tach and shift indicator were not enough).
Your video was uninformative at best and you seem to lack the experience to offer an objective review.

Yeesh, going 45 on 2nd gear on the fz07. You definitely aren't familiar with its powerband. It isn't a supersport.

I got the FZ07 as my first bike, and loving it. Can have some fun without letting things get out of hand. Looking forward to getting a R6 soon. Hope to keep the FZ07 as a commuter.

It's a nice little bike. Dual cylinder versus inline 3 the FZ09 is a stronger bike. But this is great for a CA commuter

Funny watching people who ride I4s go to twins or v engine configuration.

Those bikes like to cruise at lower Rpms.
And it does not have a slipper clutch so you need to rev match on the downshifts or the back tire will lock up.

That bike is powerful at gear 2 75mph.

Some people say the front suspension is spongy. Is that true? Rise safe.

That got yamilube in it or what? I'm always looking for a better/smoother oil.

As far as commuter bike: CBR500... 70+ MPG and 100+ MPH... no other bike can match it

I like your gloves.I have Alpinestar white moto gp gloves and a couple of Scorpion Helmets.I wear a Black Alpinestar jacket with shoulder and elbow plastic protectors and padded back protection but it's material not leather.That's cool you have ridden alot of motorcycles.

I test rode the 2014 FZ09 and I test rode the 2015 FZ09.I really liked the 2015 Yamaha FZ09.Than I test rode the FZ07.I was like where did the horsepower go.I knew I wanted a 2015 FZ09.My last bike was a 2009 Yamaha FZ6.So Men call their bikes ladies names and Women call their bikes men names.Is that how it works for Ladies?

I got this bike a month ago and not as a beginner my 3rd bike, crack that throttle open in any gear and you will say oh wow the tork. First thing to go was the stock exhaust I got the M4 slip on, love it, and can hear it great now lol.
