Wow, i like how they ended on a total lie. Tens of thousands of people, possibly hundreds of thousands protested after the USSR was being dissolved. There were 2 famous attempts, 1) in August 1991 called the Moscow Coup Attempt which, despite popular pro-Western narratives, included protestors who came out to support the coup and protect the USSR. 2) 1993 Russian Constitutional Crisis, thousands of communist and nationalist protestors, opposing Yeltsin’s reforms and the dissolution of the Supreme Soviet, took to the streets of Moscow and fought to reinstate Communist Party rule.
