I just watched his death lol i thought i had watched all the hunger games movies, i regret it. I loved Finick i dont think i can finish the movie now.

The first time I watched this movie, I thought it was Gale that died and started celebrating. Then I realised it was Finnick and started crying.

At lest in the books he had a quick death with his head being snapped off. Plus, he saw memories of Annie to bring him some peace

I will never understand why they killed off Finnik in movie and books. It was utterly useless and unfair. Of all deaths is the only one who really upsets me to no end. This man was abused since he was young even after beeing victor, went thru hell and back, sacrificed all to fight in the main lines nu f this war, and just as he started a family they kill him off right away abd burtally. I don't get it. Rue and Prim's death made sense, they were diving point to Katniss, even Cenna, but this?? Why??? Just why the hell would you kill him, what is the point? Is the only thing i can't stand in this story at all

This scene made me sob- And the fact that it was a few days RIGHT after his wedding makes it worse. He didn’t even get to see his son😢

Why did Finnick have one of the most traumatizing deaths-

The fact that he and Katniss just became friends after having to murder each other and he just sacrificed himself for her, where Gale who has been her bestfriend for years, he had a massive crush on ran away and was one of the first people on the ladder. WUSS

I didn’t want him to die it was the saddest thing about the last film

fun fact, finnick wasnt supposed to die. it was supposed to be gale. Suzanne Collins said that as she was writing this scene, she wrote Finnick instead of Gale and didnt realize until the book was done and published. still, after six years or producing, only 54 people protested to change this mistake.

unfortunately, i believe that it is sad to have Finnick die, but to have Gale die instead, it wouldnt give us the right satisfaction. both of the best characters would have had a chance of dying anyway. RIP FINNICK❤

Also Katniss and the others could’ve done SOMETHING before this! Like they could’ve been shooting at the mutts so Finnic could pass quickly or throwing some sort of weapon. Also, I’m shook how the people with GUNS went first. Meanwhile they’re leaving Finnic down there with nothing but a spear and a knife.
