It was listed for sale. But what's the point if you can't build on it!? If they allowed you to build a house on stilts, you could see some buyers. There is no hunting opportunities on this little island either. The only thing you could do is camp on it, but you can do that on NPS maintained islands anyway.

Now it's home for the Easton's homeless.

: } well back when i was a young teen, that spot was great for cataching some big catfish + nice big eels. also made a great swimming spot too.

It's weird that etchings show a local village of some kind, which is also now missing.
