The Opportunity To Age is The Ultimate Privilege

Aging is a privilege. We can get so caught up with our daily-life tasks that with every birthday we get closer and closer to our “Golden Years”. Unfortunately, the Golden Years are not so golden for too many of our senior citizens. It can be incredible difficult to navigate life as an elder American. This stage of life presents unique circumstances that can be difficult for people to understand until they personally reach this age. Marginalizing, casting aside and ignoring the needs of our elderly have real costs socially, financially and psychologically. Consider this...how we care for our elderly is a reflection of how we care for ourselves.

The core of Glom’s mission is improved thriving and wellbeing for all. All means everyone. Teens, adults and the elderly. We cannot tackle diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging without including our seniors. For better or worse, we stand on their shoulders.
