I had a friend sing this at my husband's memorial. After nearly 7 years of illness, the idea of laughter after pain and sunshine after rain was deeply comforting and just right.

Pretty much one of the best songs ever. I was in my early 20s and listened to this album a lot. Went through a lot of anxiety, panic attacks what have you. This album always made me feel calm, especially this song. Thank you Mr. Knophler and band ✌️❤️😊

In 2023 I was dating a girl, driving alone at night on my way home Dire Straits was my partner. She was very loving towards me but she was angry about this world, about people, I tried to change her, we listened together to Dire Straits and other legends, we talked, we hugged, but people never change. One day I said to her we can not be together because if love can not change her, nothing will. One year later i was driving with my friends and this thing came up in radio, i was crying for the entire length of this song, because of my sweet memories with this girl. I wanted us to stay friends and help her in her personal development etc... but she was hurt and angry. Today she blocked me on social media and it's kinda sad, but hey - WHY WORRY

Reminds me of the 80's when my life was still up in the air. The only thing certain was my love for hifi recordings like this LP.

I was in a relationship at the age of 19, and he was 25. I simply destroyed all good that we had by constantly bringing myself down for no reason, so he left me after 2 years. Now I'm 40 and consider this one the greatest loss.
