Glad you reviewed another trail shoot. Pls do more!!!
ОтветитьI ran a mixed surface trail 23K in these, absolutely fantastic shoe!
ОтветитьHappy thanksgiving! 🦃
ОтветитьI treat your channel like I do Harry Mack's (freestyle rapper, if you don't know him, unicorn ability)...thumbs up as soon as the video starts.
ОтветитьDefinitely enjoy the trail stuff. Keep doing what you do and I appreciate all the content and positivity you provide! Cheers 🍻
ОтветитьGreat to see more trail shoe reviews! I own both the Zegama 2 and Endorphin Edge. For some reason the Edge never clicked with me – firm, but not very bouncy, and never broke in. I wasn't sold on the Zegama at first either, but it quickly became a favorite. The Zoom X feels amazing at any pace, despite looking (and sometimes feeling) like a boat. I think it could be a one-shoe quiver for many runners.
Also, I would love to see you review the Brooks Catamount 4 when it's released. I have the Catamount 2, and I think these are very underrated. It's a firmer, non-max stack shoe without a plate, but it punches above its weight. Lightweight, bouncy, nimble, with great grip and ground feel. Just a fun shoe. Right now I'd pick the Zegama for ultras and the Catamount for sub-ultra distances.
For non-technical trails these are the absolute GOAT IMO in general the closest thing I've ever experienced to a road supershoe on the trail
ОтветитьJust picked up the Gel Nimbus 26 TR here in the UK for £120... Hoping the slightly better and grippier lugs on the outsole will help in winter! Great video as always 😊
ОтветитьWe ARE LOVING THE TRAIL REVIEWS ❤
It’s nice to have two outlets instead of one
Yeeeee
ОтветитьMe and my 10 year old son wen out at 6 am to the trails and logged 10 Koo miles be for we came home to eat up I had on the glide ride max. My son had on the nova blast fours and we was in the trails. It was all muddy and we was passing people on the downhill and uphills with street shoes and mud and I seen all these other people with bad ass trail shoes, and we was eating them upwith street shoes on a wet trail
ОтветитьTrails>roads 🦹🏾♂️. East coast mountains are cool, like Old Rag in Shenandoah, VA. But there is nothing like running 14k ft. peaks! Look into Pike's Peak marathon in Manitou Springs, CO. It's part of the Golden Trail Series. I did Pike's Peak Ascent in the Mafate Speed 4's. Great cushion and grip, but a bit narrow for my liking. I just ordered the New Balance More Trail v3. Thanks for the trail videos!
ОтветитьI’m not really a trail shoe guy, but it is still good information. If I ever get into trail running then I’ll know what to get. Another thing I got from these trail videos is that Hoka has the best all around shoe lineup right now
ОтветитьHere for the shenanigans! Very thankful for my family and my health. Thanksgiving day I paced for my wife at a Turkey trot and got her new 5K PB then came home and got me a new 5K PB around the neighborhood. Thank you for being a great inspiration. I’m being much more consistent and grinding out miles because of your message. This channel has helped me a lot.
Ответитьmy strava page was awfully quiet yesterday, but we stay grinding even on holidays 😤
ОтветитьTry the more v4 trail, trabuco max ,brooks caldera 7
ОтветитьMan your videos are just straight bangers. So much positive vibes! Happy thanksgiving bro!
Ответитьlove the trail stuff man, especially leading up to your ultra. I’m into both sides of the running community, but my goals are focused on road for the next couple years and then I’m all trail for the ultras.
ОтветитьHave you looked into the Asics Trabuco max 3 or Brooks Caldera 7?
ОтветитьShout out to the channel putting in the work
ОтветитьJust ordered some Terrex Agravic 3s to start getting out on the trails. If you know of anything fun around the Huntersville area, would love a recommendation!
ОтветитьI really like the trail reviews..as long as they meet your needs and goals as a runner. I want to start running more on the trails so these are good.
ОтветитьThe Endorphin Edge comes alive for me most on the road and packed dirt/non-technical stuff. I really enjoy it as long as I'm going at a decent clip. But once it gets technical, it has me worried I'll roll an ankle.
ОтветитьThis is not a great shoe for easy pace. I have those and they want SPEED and in my opinion those are one of the fastest trail shoe you can get for non technical terrain.
Ответить1) The Shroom Wellington 🍄 looks amazing.
2) I watch all of your videos but I do pay more attention to the road stuff because it applies to me more.
3) If it gets to be too much, there's no rule that you have to put out videos every day or that they have to be an hour or more. Things change as we go through life.
I bought the Saucony Edge afer enjoying the Xodus Ultra. It didn't disappoint, a bit lighter and more comfortable. My son used it on a 100K Ultra and loved it.
ОтветитьThey are cheap because of the atrocious pink…
ОтветитьBig thanks To You and the Supwell community. It’s a banger.
ОтветитьThese have been 70 bucks on Amazon for a few weeks. Just a heads up.
ОтветитьI think some of the stability comments come from runners with narrow feet. If you fill it out well, I don't see the stability issue and I'm pretty sensitive to that. It also comes alive at faster trail paces.
ОтветитьLove the trail content! As an ultra/ trail fan of your channel, this takes my fandom to a new level!
ОтветитьBroski’s dad laugh😂😂😂
ОтветитьHey Yowana! I love your vids! Are you going to review any zero-drop altras? Like the Vanish Carbon 2's or Torins?😳👀
ОтветитьLove the trail reviews. I have a 30k trail race coming up in the spring. I’d love to see you get more miles on this and see if it’s worth it at the lower cost. A lot easier to swing a sub $100 shoe than the $300 hoka. Also bought the Pegasus trail five goretex after your review the other day. Will be a great Versaille trainer over the cold winter here in Utah
ОтветитьFavorite trail shoe, can’t believe how cheap it is now.

ОтветитьI don’t need trail shoes but the vids are still interesting. I wish I had trails nearby so I’m vicariously experiencing nature through these and I know what shoes to check out if I get more trail opportunity in the future. Also excited to see how your 50k turns out!
ОтветитьAppreciate all the trail reviews, they are really valuable as you have experienced basically the road shoes so can give a more accurate review and relate them to the ride of road shoes. As for the grind... I'm thankful that you've instilled in me the ethos of getting out there and putting the work, but equally don't sacrifice yourself, the business will grow regardless!
ОтветитьAw man. I hate that you didn’t enjoy the edge as much as I have. To be fair, I haven’t tried or wanted to pay for the tectons so for what I’ve tried the edge is just so good. At least I know I should reconsider the tecton now lol.
Ответить…I really prefer trails.., but I run the roads like everyone, out of necessity.
the good trails take time to get to. I can get to decent trails slightly closer.., and some lame trails just down the way.
keep up the great work.
👍🏻
ОтветитьAnother Yowana Banger of a video. I enjoyed that tremendously from start to finish! And please continue to review Trail shoes since many of us live near beautiful hiking/running trails. 🤩
ОтветитьI’ve been enjoying the recent trail videos. I enjoy hitting the trail during the winter time and just bought a pair of Salomon Glide Max TR this. I am looking forward to those arriving and testing them out on the run next weekend. The trail videos mixed in with the road shoes, deals, and training videos gives a good variety and keeps us guessing what the post will be about each day. Up Your Best!
ОтветитьNone of the Trail shoes from Brooks have Vibram (Vi-Bram) outsole and they do very well in sales for trail running shoes.
ОтветитьThanksgiving 2025 I'm finally hosting, I'm going to work on uping my best to before then! No bland beige foods coming out of supwell kitchen!
ОтветитьNo one's talking about the Endorphin Edge. I've absolutely loved my pair. 250 miles+ and going strong
ОтветитьIt's too bad, because price point and specs make you think "trail Endorphin Pro 3", but in reality the Edge is more like a nerfed, firmer, less bouncy Speed 2. If like you and me, you get it for 50% off plus, then it's a solid uptempo trail and light winter shoe. I've got around 100 miles on mine, and durability is good, but midfoot pinching and lack of stability mean it's not even a good ultra shoe. Solid shoe, but mispriced and doesn't deliver on its promise at all.
