Just clarifying you don't lose loot after 2 a.m.
You only lose it when you're knocked out by a monster.

The Miner profession is better in the long run. Build crystallariums and the extra gems are unnecessary. Ore is used in everything all the time and is needed in much larger quantities. It increases the amount of ore you get by 50% (expected value of 3 ores her vein compared to the standard 2)

I did learn something new so ghost. Playing for the last month I figured much of this out the hard way. Its year 5 and I haven't tackled the Skull Cavern yet but soon as I kill enough skeletons I'll head over. Tjanks for the info

Recently got back into the game and been loving your channel's content! This game has had so many changes since I played it lol - it's insane.

While watching this, I had a question come to mind... if you marry Harvey, do you still have to pay him when you pass out? Guess what I'll be trying on my new 1.6 farm on the Switch tonight... 😆

I’ve been making a planner thing in my notes waiting for this update to drop and these videos have helped so much even just now I thought I’d written down everything I’d need but you reminded me I needed to put what levels iron and gold unlock on. Glad I haven’t gotten the chance to make my new save yet lol.

Me, after WAY too much mining in my last Stardew Valley playthrough where I must've angered RNGsus: "FINALLY a Prismatic Shard, by the GODS!" I'd hit level 10 mining a season previous. Probably ran levels 100-120 of the mines a dozen times, easy. Not a single prismatic shard drop in a rock or in a geode.

Sometimes, the game just decides certain things are going to be as rare as intelligent political discussion on cable television.

Ghost 👻❤ This is a great guide for mining. I did learn some things I didn't know, like not knowing that mining a stone that drops a piece of coal giving you 5 XP and not knowing that using bombs still gets you XP. However, one tip I want to add for anyone that doesn't know. Don't forget to stock up on Cheese while adventuring through the mines for cheap and easy way of healing your HP and energy.

dev should make the mobile version easier. i mean, im having trouble with movement haha, just sharing my thought -_-

I find mining to be very entertaining, so much infact that i always completed the mine on spring 27th year 1

I haven't been playing for very long and I just made it to level 40 during my first year in the fall I don't know which profession to choose when I level up but I think this video will help me figure it out

Ghosts are crazy in stardew

you totally missed the other versions of the mines, where you can find radio active ores :/ (get get acces to them from the walnoot run quests)

The wife and I are in the middle of a No Man Sky play through right now. But we both said we where beginning to feel the need for SDV play through again. There is something about this game that you can't stay away very long.

Mines 41 is ruined 😭 it’s not a good iron farm anymore and I don’t see anyone talking about it

I should try your strategy to emphasize early levelling and see if I like it better than trying for depth first. I think this video could benefit from a holistic approach with money advice, so we can figure out where to get affordable early movespeed, to facilitate walking between the best rocks instead of breaking every one trying to speed-open a staircase, and then afford early-ish bombs. Does Geologist on its own make more money than Miner earns or saves in otherwise purchased ore, or was your fiscal intent with Geologist aimed solely at Gemologist? Anywho, it's helpful that your approach is strategically thought out, and I'll give it a try if ever I start another file.
