I just got 100 pt for hypertensive heart disease and smc s so my fight is technically over but I hate that this administration is willing to hurt us like this. How are you going to make difficult process for veterans easier by firing everyone? It’s bad enough we have to beg for benefits we earned and then have to wait years sometimes to get them. I don’t trust this administration or the Secretary of the va. I hope we can weather the storm and not loose the benefits we earned.

I got a letter saying my primary care is moving to New clinic come August

Yesterday I had my one year appointment with a podiatry clinic vendor. The VA has stopped appeoving for vendors to issues shoes needed for vets with foot issues.

Well, something has to be done!!! I fell & hurt my back 7 months ago & it took 5 months of me begging to get an MRI & once they did it found there are serious issues. In the meantime, I am still suffering because I have two Doctors who don't do their jobs!!!! They shouldn't even be practicing medicine. They're finally sending me out of the VA to see a Neurosurgeon..

I'd keep tabs on who there firing if they got a record of helping vets vs not helping vets and they get rid of the ones doing the most help there is corruption

I'm a Combat Veteran in Salt Lake city. This VA sucks here. I'm on blood thinners. Bleeding, sent home at 4pm trying to get medicine and bandages. And when I called the advocate, she got aggressive and agitated, and she defamated my character in my file. I'm sure they'll investigate themselves, and find no wrong doing. Going up the chain to call the IG tomorrow

I did 21 yrs in the air force my father did 23 yrs. Cousins, uncle and 2 nephews served. We have a saying "they don't take our benefits they just erode them into dust". Thanks Donald for your part in screwing us more, SNAFU

I’ve gotten so used to taking care of everything with the information I need. Now I’ve got all kinds of help. Both you and Jason really walked me through. If we have cuts here I really don’t see it.

It's annoying that those that get these layoffs are also being paid to be laid off per say, trust me I'm a veteran with a legal binding law degree! I’m just retired from VA under DRP. In my dept the bosses lied to management about man power levels. We went from 30 to 120 in one year. Mainly non vet and family members of bosses and supervisors. Bigger picture is most are not qualified and we were supposed to train them. So I hope they get the boot.

First it starts trump doesn’t care. I remember how theVA used to work. Hospitals with rats running though them. It will start dropping ratings for disability and cutting the rates on vets. I remember a fellow veteran that was shot in the hip. He was just getting 50% and they drop it down to zero. He could hardly walk. He told me it was because of Republicans. Wake up, they send a letter the other day asking if my wife was alive. You fools that voted for the orange man, I guess you want your disabilities rating taken away.

My husband's health has declined due to stress of not knowing if he is going to have a job each day. We are both disabled Veterans and this makes me sick. This isn't helping. Unless one works within the VA, you just don't know.

good to see these cuts. the VA has too many people getting over paid and not doing their job. they are just taking advantage of the veterans.

Theres ALOT of VA employees who go to "work" and do NOT work. I know a prior va employee who said many of them have 2 jobs & are working their 2nd job WHILE AT WORK - VA. Alot of these lazy employees need to be replaced! I've been denied services out of retaliation by employees who were mad at me for addressing their misbehaviors & lack of professionalism as well as deceit. It also took me 5-7 MONTHS just to get a dental appt via community care & an OBGYN appt via community care. They are taking out the midddle man in this process & having your PCP do the work - they work with community care instead of diff depts within the VA working with community care & outside companies. This means quicker referrals & dr appts. So then there will be no beed for the middle man. GOOD, FIRE THEM! Because they are lazzzzzyyyyy, incompetent & many racist against white ppl; NOT doing their jobs. Good riddens.

Oh and of the 2 women I reported within the VA who retaliated against me, one said to me, "unless we kill or harm a veteran, nothing will happen to us." In other words, they wont get fired. She said it with arrogance & attitude and the bad thing about it is she is (or was) right. It takes alot for them to get in trouble/fired, so they treat veterans like dirt & have gotten away with it.

We been hearing about mass RIFs and layoffs but yet, not a single employee has benn let go.
