Dip them in melted lemon butter.
ОтветитьSaw artichokes in the store and decided I'm gonna figure it out and found this video and now I'm ready!! 😊
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьSuper informative, easy to follow, thorough, and pleasant! This was a SPECTACULAR video and just what I needed as this is my first time cooking them, THANK YOU ♥️!
ОтветитьThank you, the artichoke lady :). I went in blind and just threw them on the grill and no Bueno. Definitely needs to be steamed before roasting.
ОтветитьThanks for your instructions. I've just had my 2025 culinary disaster with an artichoke, not knowing how to cook or eat them. You've given me the courage and enthusiasm to charge through the smokey haze in the kitchen, and pull out the steamer and give it another go!
Ответитьeverything about this video is attractive, the setting, the speaker, her voice, the food and especially the info ❤
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьMy goodness. Okay, that makes it way easier and cleaner to handle than how I used to do it. But this wastes all these delicious little tiny purple leaves 😢 I might start cutting it in 2 pieces once cooked, though 😊 It might help 😅
ОтветитьI've NEVER seen such excitement or enthusiasm about cooking and eating an artichoke. Excellent presentation!! If you were a preacher, I would be ready to be baptized, RIGHT NOW!!
ОтветитьIt is so refreshing to see someone keep most of the artichoke in tact. My family just used a scissors to cut the prickers, then cut the stems but dont throw them away put them in the pot and cut an x on bottom of artichoke, put olive oil garlic salt lemon and water, then cook til soft, no sauce needed bc the oil lemon garlic and salt juice is heaven.
ОтветитьThe way my family eats them is we dip in butter and then dip in mayonnaise with lemon. Might sound gross but you can thank me later ❤
ОтветитьLoved the idea of adding the blooper segment at the end.
ОтветитьWhy don't you tell people about removing the choke. It's dangerous.
ОтветитьThanks ❤
ОтветитьAmazing explanations! As someone who loves in a place we don't really eat this veggie, Im excited to try it!
ОтветитьHomegurl, I thank you so much. Oh these things are the best!!!!
ОтветитьThanks for this video! I didn’t know your channel, I am subscribing 😊❤
ОтветитьLoved this video and I have 2 smaller ones to make and now I know how to do it. Last time I didn’t know what to do and yes I ate part of what you shouldn’t eat 🤦♀️
ОтветитьMerci !
ОтветитьThanks so much. You 'Ought to choke,' if you don't prepare artichokes properly.
ОтветитьThank you, enjoyed your presentation, down to earth but with such pleasure in your work. I've grown these for 10 years and do enjoy the season. Diiner tonight was an Italian vignole featuring artichokes
I've never seen anything like the size of the produce you showed!
You've inspired me to research and order some seed that will hopefully yield some bigger fruit next in the next year or two
Seriously I reckon they were 5 times the size of what I grow!
Thank you
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGrateful for all the info! Excited to make this at home. I love eating them at restaurants 💕🥰💕
ОтветитьWhats the point of adding olive oil into the water, olive oil is expensive don't waste it like that
ОтветитьSounds excellent. I like artichokes.
ОтветитьPerfect video! Thank you! I've eaten canned artichoke hearts, but have never prepared a fresh one. I got some on clearance today, and had to Google how to prepare them. I love how you present the whole process, from start to finish, explaining the 'why' and 'how' of it. Very helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьVery nice 😊
ОтветитьI simmered one artichoke for one hr and it was still half hard and tasted disgusting.
ОтветитьThis was an amazing demonstration . Thank you and here I go for my first time in cooking artichokes . 🙏🙏
ОтветитьI watched your video and it was a well done instructive video but sadly I overcooked mine and it was not so tasty . Might try again but it stinks I overcooked it . Not your fault but mine! great video ! Subscribed to your channel !
ОтветитьMade my first artichoke. Not good Hopefully I can reboil it. Should've looked at this video beforehand.
ОтветитьI wonder who ever thought wow let’s eat this thistle😂
ОтветитьThanks for the very helpful and easy to understand video! Our artichokes turned out great.
ОтветитьSo Emmy👌
ОтветитьThis was really helpful - thank you so much 🙏🏾
ОтветитьThank you for such an informative guide ❤️ I prepared my very first artichoke today and everything went great. I'm excited to taste and try it in a few minutes :)
ОтветитьI used to have two very prolific artichoke bushes at my first house and thought I was cooking them correctly, and then I saw this! Now I'm really looking forward to preparing them! Thank you!
My favorite dip is mixing a little curry powder into Vegenaise. So delicious!
I eat them with mayo
ОтветитьI dont remember ever eating one of them but after seeing this video im gonna havebto give it a try. I love asparagus, Brussels and broccoli so artichokes cant be all that bad.. Thank you for this video. You got a new subscription.❤🌹
ОтветитьShut up ..u talk toooooo much
Ответитьi would marry her just to make me artichokes lmao
ОтветитьThank you thank you ... a good thorough review and more; I add peppercorns to the water as well!
Ответить♥️
ОтветитьI love artichokes ❤😊
ОтветитьSo basically like eating a sunflower seed the reward is very small got it noted. I’ll never do this, unless one of these magically land in my hands
Ответитьgreat video!!!
ОтветитьWatch this because I’ve been growing artichokes and was considering cutting some for eating. But it’s awfully faffy, so I think I’ll let them flower.
