ОтветитьIf he qas a white kid .from a respectable midfle class family .it qould nt of even gone to court .or he eould be deemed mentaly ill.get probation or hospital treatment .load a bollocks .the law is totaly unFAIR.
ОтветитьAttourneys .especialy court appointed ones .are nt worth vomiting over .they are a bunch a low life shits.
ОтветитьThey are so over worked with cases .the average time is 7 minutes with a client b4 trial .the qhole system needs revaluating .
ОтветитьHaven't seen the prosecutor since she danced with Swayze in the dance movie. This was very good movie. There is much improvement needed in the justice system. I know they r overloaded with cases. One major improvement is the death penalty not imprisonment if crime is killing. Prisons r too full. This movie was very good story. Very good acting.

ОтветитьWhy didn’t anyone get a search warrant to look for the knife and stolen belongings in Jessie’s house? Why didn’t anyone go to all the stores he went to since the date of the robbery and find out what he paid with or find his receipts?
ОтветитьSo this guy waste everybody time hoping the girl will not show up, he refused taking two now he get way more than that
ОтветитьWOE UNTO THOSE WHO CALL GOOD EVIL AND EVIL GOOD, THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE MIGHTY POWERFUL TRUTH IT ALWAYS ALWAYS SHOWS UP ON TIME,

Someone help, i missed it but why did he after all that take the plea??
ОтветитьForest and his attorney are both great actors. And it is a cool movie
ОтветитьFuck 😢 😮 😢
ОтветитьNice Dorado (opening scene).
ОтветитьProsecutor only cares about conviction ...period
ОтветитьFUCKED UP 👀
ОтветитьI saw this movie as part of my law and government class in high school
ОтветитьThe system must be changed!
ОтветитьProof is irrelevant. Manipulation is sadly an attorney standard, even when paying outrageous sums for laziness and unversed case law.
Ответить“An innocent man , in a living hell.” How would any of us feel ? On the word of a crack head , talk about a reliable witness on a dark night.
ОтветитьLaPaglia & Whitaker are both excellent & very believable in this.
Youthful transgressions will color your entire life. Choose wisely.
It is well understood now how unreliable witness testimony is.
ОтветитьDangerous world... Dangerous life. Anything can arrives to anyone.
Ответитьthis biyatch broght it upon herself then suddenly she got tired of lying...that's why she's so stressed...she wanted her drama😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe system is broken when your innocent your Guilty when your Guilty your innocent a new justice system is needed
Now by the people for the people ⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖⚖
What a horrible ending!!!!
ОтветитьShame to take Gods name in vain
ОтветитьVery depressing
Ответитьلماذا. لم تحاكم هذه. لتعاطي. المخدرات علما ان عمرها ١٩ سنة. ثم سجلها يذكر ذالك. أين القانون من هذا.
ОтветитьThe Practice was the best legal drama
ОтветитьPublic Defender work with the prosecutors making deals on conviction for a speedy case, most people who been convicted is scared to take cases to trial because of the system of white supremacy always want to convict Negros/Freedmen/Foundation Black Americans and this is the same white supremacy which causes economical deprivation in all Negros/Freedmen/Foundation Black Americans communities having no money for a lawyer, too many defendants take plea deals for lesser charge or charges so they can just go home, if majority Negros/Freedmen/Foundation Black Americans is ready too sit in jail on not taking plea deals for their innocence and have money for a lawyer then the system of white supremacy will not be able to mass incarcerate us Negros/Freedmen/Foundation Black Americans as this white supremacy system have been doing !!!!!!!!!!! If you is innocent, keep turning down the Public Defenders, eventually as time passes if you’re sitting in jail because you can’t make the bail the system of white supremacy must send a court appointed lawyer to represent you, a court appointed lawyers is a lawyer that must take a case because most court appointed lawyers did something offensive to a judge in court and instead of sending them through trail they got to take a case Pro-Bono !!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьGreat acting by all. Love Anthony Lapaglia.
Thank you, desoriente0!
Well-written, well-acted, well-directed and thoroughly depressing. The ending is pretty frustrating, as we never know if he really did it or that he pled out because he believed no jury would acquit if they saw the scar on her face. That’s life in the American justice system, though; thoroughly depressing and deeply frustrating.
ОтветитьA movie with civilization
Watching 2024
IT WAS DARK,HE CAME UP BEHIND HER, AND SHE WAS HIGH,COME ON NOW.
ОтветитьNatanyahu is wanted from internationall court for making a genocide in palastine
ОтветитьSo can someone tell me was he guilty or not?
ОтветитьHe’s a great actor on so many levels
ОтветитьNon blacks vs blacks...and btw, he was guilty...there was no charles bronson movie on the time in question....
ОтветитьSo, it's 2024 and this movie was released in 1990. Can you believe this is 34 years old?? Makes you wonder if the stars in this even remember (or want to remember) doing this movie. It didn't do very well even though it was on cable. The critics gave it bad reviews. Imo it is a good movie. If this really was how the NY courts were in 1990, then ALOT of people must've been wrongly convicted. 😞
ОтветитьVery good movie.
ОтветитьDidn't like the ending
ОтветитьWho is going to tie a bell in Cats Collar? Because you go anywhere any other Countries the Judiciary or Judicial System are all alike but not for Mafia men, Political Party Leaders, Administration Officials or Police Personnel who are Corrupted by any means they are all upon Judicial System beyond Judgment they are all God Blessed
ОтветитьWow! I am so confused.
I mean, there are 2 sides of the story here.
First. The way Jessy was sure that Denice was not gonna come i was very sure that he was responsible for the crime because he knew that he had threatened her
BUT
The way he couldn't even describe the crime scene got me thinking... maybe he's just afraid that he would stay in jail for long, maybe he didn't commit the crime!😢
Candyman was a detective
ОтветитьSo. Even a black judge doesn’t care about the truth….
ОтветитьRIP Tony Todd
