A bit of a word salad where Lewis' car performance is concerned. I'd certainly like to hear a better explanation about what is going on with Lewis' car.

Shov has avoided the questions about the undrivability of Lewis' car. There is something fundamentally wrong with Lewis's car that goes beyond set-up preferences. Lewis said it was like driving a plank of wood. Even Chandhok, who is normally reserved in his judgements said this when speaking to Bernie Collins:

It sounded like if it was up to him on Sunday, he would just come, driven that demo in Senna’s car and go back to the airport.

And honestly, watching the onboards, it looked awful.

Why is Hamilton slower than Williams and Haas with rookie drivers?

All of you including Toto Wolff should be fired.. period.. Everyone is under the same restrictions and regulations on the spending cap and it’s understandable that a private is limited on R&D even with those restrictions because they just don’t have the total resources, however that’s not the case with Mercedes.. the bottom line is you have good engineers but not as race engineers you have become a middle of the pack f1 team and it’s getting worse race by race.. for a well funded works team I can’t even phathom that the company’s major sponsors and shareholders would even put up with this Debotchery and nonsense week end and week out for 3 seasons.

i think its about "conspiracy" in the internal mercedes manufacturer....they want mclaren as a flagship partner so in the future the mclaren will uses a mercedes as a supplier engine and partnership in technology ,and mercedes gained more money to supply the mclaren's component....remember aston martin was accused by mercedes in 2020. Money and profit need a loyal joint venture between other manufacturer, so supply and demand will last longer....support hamilton's car will only get famous brand name's, but support mclaren;s car will get new loyal partnership!

Unsubscribing from Lewis: the way he treated merc is utterly disgusting: signing first and preeching 'I believe in this team' and afterwards signing for Ferrari. He just planted a knife in Merc's back and he knows it. If he wanted to drive for Ferrari, I can understand but then just don't sign first for Merc. Talking of loyalty... I don't believe a word anymore what he says.

For Mercedes fans this is a 3rd straight disappointing season. Except for 2-3 races the car has been unpredictable at best. There shouldn't be any smiles on any faces on the team.

The naivety from some who truly believe that Russell is suddenly a 'better' driver than lewis, especially in the wet, is off the scale. You only have to look at Silverstone in July to see the difference between them as soon as the track got some water on it. Mercedes pretty much give the game away here - they're gathering information for next years car as to what works and what doesn't - and Lewis is the fall guy for this. The team are locked in for 4th so lose nothing, and the upshot is that they can show their sponsors that the 'weaker' driver is the one who left. If you can't see from the on-boards the difference in the rides from each car, don't bother commenting.

I have lost all respect for Toto and his leadership style. What he says about his most winning driver is embarrassing. I won't be shocked if he takes on a new role himself soon. He has lost it. Christian Horner has the upper hand on him.
