I tried MacOS for 1.5 years. Here’s what I learned

For me it's not even visual elements. I've only just started using MacOS in the last 2 years but i'm blown away by the optimisation. 16gb of ram feels infinite on macos, whereas its barely enough on windows anymore. Windows is just clunky, half baked and inefficient. Not to say MacOS doesn't have its own shortcomings, but overall i'd say it just runs a lot smoother and I have a better time using it. I've also switched my gaming system over to Linux in the past year and i've noticed many of the same things so it's not a MacOS exclusively that brings me to this conclusion. Windows just sucks in general.
Another thing i'll point out is how MacOS doesn't force updates down my throat or try and force me to use a cloud account.

i use both. macOS is just a bummer for multitasking for my preference. but macOS is super smooth with the apps i use for my work, although a bit laggy with my pc but due to multitasking, i still use my PC.

At this point, linux is better

I just bought a secnod hand ipad air and while I knew this channel, I went back now that I actually have a mac, the screen of my 2019 800€ windows laptop is miles better than this 2017 mac air lol

Only real reason is hardware. Mac always has the highest quality when it comes to screen

Windows has Quick Share (basically android's airdrop) which macOS does not have.

you can tako screenshot on windows with automatic saving just by pressing windows + printscreen,
you can ranme files by clicking F2.

In Windows
1. when you make changes to any file and close it, system asks if you want to save or not.
2. preview tab is available in windows file explorer it self, you just need to turn it on.
3. Animations : MAC wins
4. Consistency : MAC wins but windows offer more customization
5. drag mouse pointer to bottom right corner and you will be on desktop.
6. for instantly saving screenshots, use Windows + PrtScr
7. Teleportation : works in windows also and exactly same way.
8. mouse cursor customization : bro you are creating your own happiness
9. search bar : does same work + shows bing search results
10. RAM : bro i would upgrade 32 at 1/10 price of what apple wants 8 gb extra ram
11. airdrop = windows phone link.(just install it on any phone and login)
12. the screen : yakkk, i need anti glare amoled over some lcd

I do not agree with 2 things. Screenshots from long time is auto save no problem at all. 2nd big thing...marketing/myth that Mac ram is double on Windows that is total bushit in which many blind apple fans believe, and still believe.

you can makes snips also autosave to desktop, but its still annoying to set it. better for it to be default

All these fancy features are nice, but I could care less when the OS is closed off and the hardware is way too expensive.

11 USELESS REASONS why mac is better than windows... i think is more appropiate, at least try to show some really usefull comparison betwen those two because i saw only one wich is the easy way that you can share file in ios not only in mac pc

These are all minor nitpicks that pale in comparison to everything Windows does better.

A lot of good things in MacOS, agreed. But it sucks with shortcuts. Windows and windows based apps have some very useful shortcuts that can simply be executed with Shift+something, or Ctrl+something, or Alt+something, or Spacebar+something, whereas in MacOS, there are very complex shortcuts for some simple things, like going to the end of the document, selecting up to the end of the document, going to the beginning of the document, Cut Copy paste, Also, where shortcuts exist, they are very inconsistent and almost without any pattern. Sometimes Fn+something, sometimes, Cmd+something, sometimes a combination of 3-4 buttons... absolutely horrible.

And what about weird quirks like Close X not closing apps, even my browser loses all tab re-open history if I close it, then force close it; Every time, it has to be Cmd+Q to do force close at the first time, to ensure that tabs are retained. I mean, I could hastily click the X, or just not close it properly. Why should I lose my tabs because of that?

Even desktop look and feel wise Windows has more visible buttons, userfriendliness and transparency effects.

I don't see any appeal in Mac OS other than the Apple hardwardes' outward hardware looks and feels are out of the world.

Bro you hit the nail on the target. I literally don't see why windows even to this day don't steal these features from apple. I agree every with every feature us said except the enter but that a personal preference. But Kudos to you making this vid.

To sum it up...macos is simpler and easier to use than windows. This may not mean better in some cases as compatibility issues are there on macOS.
And its worth mentioning that gaming and engineering stuff is just not the domain of the Mac
