Damn bro your tips are spot on, mine doesn't finish the same as you like you still have a lot of health and gourd. Me I'm most of the time photo finish in the end last strand of hp no more gourd or any spells just relied on dodging and button smashing the light attack. 🤣

The attack where he grabs you in his jaws and takes out 99% of your health (but never kills you) is actually easy to dodge if you can anticipate it. In the brief moment before his attack lands, there is second of "bullet-time". Dodge then. If you try to dodge beforehand, he'll get you coming out of your roll. This particular move is only avoidable with a perfect dodge, which is why they give you that window.

Did it here’s the braindead method. When fight starts anytime his head is in striking distance spam every spell esp immobolize or anyone that makes staggers him immediately. After that only aim at his head and point your joystick always towards his head fuck the legs it’s even harder to tell where his legs are with the fucked up camera.

On my second attempt, I accidentally found a way to beat him on the snowy ground, by protecting myself behind the invisible wall. It was a bug. I did a full circle around the lake at the far edge to explore the area. Then suddenly, the boss fight started as I was returning to the main area, while I was still on the edge of the ground around some kind of tree rock formation. He could only hit me from a distance with a lightning and wave attack. While I could easily charge up a few heavy attacks in pillar stance and hit him. I was hesitating between cheating on this one, or spending hours before moving on.

Beat him on my fourth time. Pure luck, no skills. All because i accidentally god mode in dodging. After beating him, i died easily against frozen corpse minions while trying to imitate my dodging skills against Jin Loong
