Wow, back and forth certainly. Fun battle report!

Great battle report! I am fairly new to the game so have a question about re-roll rules.
The situation with the Knight vs loads of easterlings: captain rolls 2,3 against the knights 6 (which the capt. can't might to win the fight?) Then re-rolls one of the dice with banner, and has an army re-roll - but can you re-roll a re-roll in mesbg?
