This is the storytime of the time I pulled up to my house being raided in 2019 when I was still in addiction. I pulled up to the cops all over my yard and some of them were outside playing w my then 2 yr old waiting for me to come back home while my sitter was in cuffs. Ultimately I was the only one who went to jail bc I owned up to it all, although they tried hard to arrest my fiancé but he had his own place and technically didn’t live w me and I let that be known so I was the only one n trouble. Anyway shortly after I got sick w a heart infection and tragically lost my fiancé right after we decided to get sober. After that I decided to stay sober & fought my cases & so glad I did because body cam ended up showing they entered illegally & everything was dropped/ or reduced down bc a that technically & I got off on 1 yr felony probation & if completed successfully I wouldn’t be a felon which is what happened!
So I now use my second chance at life to show others that recovery is possible! My son is now almost 6 and we are thriving! #addictionrecovery
