It's really good. Music + dialog is really good too.

Its a cheap budget film. So I knew what to expect. I will say it was better than I thought it would be though. But truth is that Ron's hellboy is just way better. Plus Del Toro is a great director. So his hellboy films are great. I will say that the David Harbor Hellboy from 2019 wasn't that bad imo. I actually enjoyed that film. I really liked the way hellboy looked in that film. So if David had Del Toro as the director on that hellboy film then I think it could have been a great film.

I do hope to see more Hellboy films in the future. I loved Ron's. But I think that Hellboy is a character where you have a ton of things you can do with that character. If they had a great director and made a R Rated Hellboy that would be awesome imo.

It seems they maxed out that 20 million budget to film making so they'd got nothing left for the advertising. Respect.

This Hell boy feel like yellow tint movie

The movie took place in the 50's but in the end of the movie they were pick-up my a 70's model helicopter... does that make sense

This shows me that portaying a comic accurate version and a movie adaptation doesn't go hand in hand. Del Toro is a master of movie adaptations, but not comic accurate lore. That made Del Toro movies much more watchable. I really liked the original duo movies. I hope Del Toro at least made an animated movie for the conclusion.

It was actually really close to the comics, and i highly respect it for doing as much as it did with its budget

In my opinion, if they have low budget, they should have cut the unnecessary parts. For example, the opening train part and the spider fight scene - they should have just made a scene where Hellboy went to the village due to the distress call (e.g. the paralyzed boy couldn't be healed by a doctor). Also, the talking of the old woman character to the crow - it was unnecessary element to the story. They should've focused on the colors palatte, Hellboy custome, more screen time for the MC actor. They really wasted a chunk of money because of the unnecessary and expensive scenes

Just saw it this pastvsturday and it was a decent wacth very cheap in like a one location also this prolly might be atleast thw best afaptarion of hellboy ive seen to date even tho ron pearlmans hellboy is iconic but yea they should do more with this one like make a spinoff tv series

This is honestly my favourite Hellboy movie, the actor for Hellboy played him excellently, the comic accuracy was great, and they did such an awesome job with the budget they had! I had a blast watching this in cinemas, it was such a great and immersive experience!

I watched the GDT films with Ron and the last Hellboy with the Stranger Things Sheriff and I watched this latest one and I think it's quite good actually. I mean it's low budget and it shows but surprisingly I still enjoyed watching it. It's quite different from the OG and last Hellboy that deals with like big or Armageddon type of story, this was smaller scale and the tone is different. Overall I rate it a solid 4/5 bones.

Terrible movie. Bad acting. Bad quality. The accents were insanely bad. I knew right away the two “southern” girls were from overseas. They always oversell southern drawls.

A supernatural esq series but with hellboy would be amazing. Movie was good, i enjoyed it. Had some definitive Hellboy moments

There should have been an original Hellboy 3.. Waited waited and gave up. Those two movies were too good.

Maybe it's just my eyes, but the cgi in this didn't look any worse than the cgi in any of the avenger movies.

IT was bad,lets be honst.

CGI aside, the only serious complaint I have is that the beginning feels like there should have been scenes leading up to it. Overall, however, I thought it was pretty solid. I think the orevious, more big scale movies might leave some disappointed, but I like a more true to firm episodic feel. It could have stood to be a bit longer than it was, but I thought it did a good job with what they were trying to do and with the resources available to them. I'm almost surprised that I liked this new Hellboy actor as much as I did, and I hope he gets more opportunities in the role. Not in my top 10 of the year so far (of the 30 I've seen), but I thought it was fun and well worth seeing.

I agree... but the soundtrack was a distraction to what a stark moment of what the environment could fill not just music, wish there was an option to kill the music... I wish all the characters died but hellboy.... the train scene crash and the spider was not needed... could have just been sent there to tackle the crooked man... but no. Could have used the spider and death of the agent instead of the priest, the priest was best. So yeah the priest and hellboy should have been the only survivors..... but I do not know the source material well enough. Could have done with a lot less ghosts or spirits. The train and helicopter scenes were not needed and saved money...Very x files meets Constantine possibilities.

This was one of the worst movies in history. Sadistically long, crushingly boring, poorly acted, lousy writing- dude, there was NOTHING good about this. Characters will literally just walk into a scene with no introduction, and start monologuing about their backstory. There are long stretches where people are just standing there, as if they thought the cameras had stopped rolling. Most of the "actors" are doing the most cornball "Hillbilly accent" imaginable. And if this movie cost $20,000,000, then it was as part of a money-laundering scheme, because only about a buck fifty of it ends up on the screen. Hellboy looks like some random homeless guy that they spray-painted red and put in a mask from Spirit Halloween.

Is not the low budget standard (for Hollywood). Anythingnless is a half-asses money grab. I made it 45 minutes through and stopped. Gonna continue now. Wish me luck, lol.
