In good weather conditions like arround min 12, the DJI Mini 4 Pro obstacle avoidance is quite reliable working. Only issues are too tiny branches

My suggestion is to avoid flipping the drone during landing. This puts excessive and unnecessary stress on the motors. I know this because my DJI drone stopped working after I kept flipping it every time I landed it. Just land it on your palm; it’s not worth having to get a new drone.

I find that if you leave an ND 32 on it, then it improves image quality quite a bit under most flying conditions. I usually only swap to a 64 or no filter when I'm going for something a bit more extreme, but if you leave a 32 on you can have the benefits of ND without the extra time factor of fussing with the ND in most situations.

PROTIP: there are no restrictions, where there are no police ;) ;) ;)

EXTRA PROTIP: learn to move your hands independently, take out the controller, put the sticks in whilst powering on the controller, then whilst it takes the time to boot up, take out the drone, turn it on before you take off the harness holding the arms and you'll halve the time it takes to come online ;)

She may have just wanted to land in those trees rather than RTH because she may have been less than 20m from the take off point. Or perhaps try ‘nifty’ bypass setting instead of the more cautious one.

I generally take the camera cover off last and replace it first. I've had my Mini 4 Pro for about 3 months and I really like it. I find it can follow me on my bike as long as I don't ride fast.

Can you turn off the beeping?

The problem with this drone is not the drone itself, but the controller and spare batteries…
The RC controller and spare batteries take up more space and weight than the drone itself. 👎👎👎
