I wish they would do literally every show at least the last year of Brent. Those last two years were amazing and more of those need to be released in my opinion.

Last year, I did not expect to resubscribe. Then I heard that the first Dave's Pick would be Frost 1985, and I had to resubscribe. For 2025, I again considered not re-subscribing. Then, I saw the first Dave's Pick for 2025 is the October 2, 1976 show -- likely one of my favorite GD years and an extremely good show. Adding to it, the filler for that pick will include more of that May 1977 show. I resubcribed as a result. Darn it!

79-85 needs more love, but very excited about the Santa Fe show from 83’

Just subscribed. I hope this is finally the year we see something for the 60's (and by that I mean something prior to around may/june 1969). It's been 53 picks and still the series hasn't showcased the bands distortion heavy acid rock period. Praying this is the year!

I'm always happy when any Dave's Picks includes an Dark Star performance. Disappointingly there was no Dark Star in any Dave's Picks 2024 album. (OTOH, happily there were three in the 30 Days of Dead 2023 tracks!!)

So David Lemieux was David Gans guest last week on the Stanford zoom course DG is teaching (too late to join this year but what an amazing way to dig deeper). Anyway DL mentioned that Lucky Budd was refurbishing his house so was living just a few doors down from DL and was constantly popping in. To hear DL tell it was hilarious. But guess today was just a Lucky tease after all😂

Hopefully this is taken as constructive criticism. Having watched many of the seaside chats, the postproduction quality has improved. My impression is you have the phone or camera on a tripod. For now, I think this is great with the beautiful background. Thank you for sharing this! The suggestion is, lose the sunglasses. Your reputation precedes you David, for your wonderful personality and talking points. But not seeing your eyes feels impersonal (to me). I suspect you wear them because of the sun. Maybe it will take time to figure out an area that gives you the best of both worlds. Totally understandable. Thank you for your work to promote the Deads music over the past years. You’re the man!

My big wish is that one day they are able to release a show that isn't available anywhere, a "lost" show of some sort. Of course, that would depend on such a show being present in the Vault, and I get the sinking feeling there are no hidden goodies left in there.
